  • Can my tablet internet useage be tracked/traced?

I sent went to a travel website from another location and ordered one travel brochure for my cousin who lives in California. I was in someone else front yard when I logged on. I used my tablet. I know laptops and desktops have a MAC ID which identifies laptops and desktops. Is my tablet trackable? How can tablets be traced other then the ISP? If so,how? I didn't go to the website using my ISP. I sent it to where she works. The signal was week when I tried to send it even though it said thankyou for the order. Could she get a restraining order even though I live in Georgia? How would she be able to do that? Could this be stocking or harassment? She lives in California.

  • Can someone file criminal charges to retaliate?

I filed a complaint against a woman for telephone harassment. I sent the offender and her daughter 3 emails letting them know that I've done this. Her daughter emailed me and told me if I email her,she will have my son charged with sexual harassment for something he did back in March. She also said she will have me charged with harassment. My son was accused of calling her, spoofing her caller ID to annoy her and for sexual harassment because of some of the things he was accused of leaving on her voice mail,he left christian music, and something from madblast dot com that's called spank the monkey. It's a joke where someone spanks a little monkey then the mommy monkey picks him up and spanks him. She lives in California and we live in GA. Chris didn't defraud anyone. It seems to me the police said that Chris didn't create another offense and also would say she's doing this in retaliation for us filing a complaint for telephone harassment against her mom. It would cost California thousands to charge my son and wouldn't be worth charging him. Also, telephone harassment is alot worse then email harassment. Her mom would yell at me through the phone. What are the chances of Chris being charged and picked up and taken to CA? Could I be forced to go to CA for email harassment? Chris hasn't been charged yet and it's been for then a month? Did I make it worse for him?

  • Could this be fraud or a crime?

My Aunt had some insurance information sent to my address but used her name, She lives on the other side of town. Is that a crime? We are having problems with her and we may have to take her to court. Maybe this is a silly question. Please try to back up your claim with sources. Please provide links if you can!

  • Could I be charged now for spoofing someone's caller ID months ago?

Can someone press charges for today for something I did back in December,2012? In December,I was accused of spoofing someones caller ID and telephone harassment and sexual harassment. We are having problems in the family which started back in 2011. My grand mother doesn't want to see them because of their past behavior. can she decide to have me charged with spoofing her caller ID (this would be for revenge since I haven't done it since). Would a prosecutor charge me with it even though I'm no longer spoofing her caller ID and harassing her? If I was the prosecutor I wouldn't charge the parson unless he/she starts again. I know the statue of limitations hasn't passed but to use the justice system for revenge if you know what mean. She filed a police report but hasn't pressed charges. She may decide to try to use the justice system for revenge because she can't see her grandmother, she likes to blame me for her behavior. She sent me nasty emails and my grand mother thinks her behavior is disgusting. I live on the east coast and she lives on the west coast. I will take my life before I go to prison. Should I worry about this me being charged?

  • Should or could this be taken as a threat?

It seems to me that he threatened my mom and me,what do you think? See below.

Were you there, Chris? I was. Stop speaking about things you know

nothing about. Your mom will pay for what she did. Period. She is a

mad woman. She is dangerous. And the lot of you are thieves. You will

pay for your crimes. For your thefts. And for your abuse. And for your

bullying. The situation is changing. Get used to it. I fighting back.

  • Are no contest laws for wills enforceable in Georgia?

My grandmother has a no contest clause. She also forgave a debt months ago. Can that be contested? We have other family members who complained when she loaned a pretty big sum to my brother so he can buy a house. She latter forgave the loan which is what she wanted to do in the beginning. Could that forgiven dept be contested? My grandmother was in sound mind when she gave the loan and when she forgave it!

  • What's taking the certified letter so long?

I sent a certified letter from Atlanta to Southern California USPS first class certified mail to a family member on Tuesday,July 17 and expected delivery date 07-20-2012. The post office thinks it was lost at the sorting facility in Atlanta. It's been more than a week since I sent it.No other scans after July 17 (Dispatched to Sort Facility). No notice left scans or anything after July 17. No one tried to pick it up or their would have been another scan. How is first class mail sent from Atlanta GA to Southern California?

  • How does first class mail travel or move? What decides if it goes by airplane or truck?

I sent a letter first class mail USPS and added certified mail from Atlanta,GA to San Diego,CA. I sent it on July 17 and he should have received it July 20 but he hasn't! The tracking and the receipt says expected delivery July 20. Someone at the post office said it would be sent by truck and it could take 2 weeks. I always understood first class mail to sent by air plane when going further than 600 miles. What is the truth?
