How do art schools/studios detect plagiarism for digital art in Photoshop?
Let's say you're given an assignment or work requirement to create some sort of character model or character design in Photoshop from scratch. How can they tell if you didn't just copy a character model from google or someone else's photoshop file that you found online that has all the layers saved, etc

is 78 years old too late to become an good artist?
I know about Grandma Moses who was 78 when she started painting but her art was not all that realistic. I want to become a hyper-realistic artist focusing on the female form but I have zero experience with drawing. I waited this long because I figured if Joe Biden can wait until he is 78 to become president successfully, I can wait until I am 78 to become a successful artist because being an artist is easier than the most difficult job on the planet which is being president..

can i become a mangaka?
Favourite answer:I have aphantasia and I draw as a hobby. It won't stop you from being an artist. Just read lots of manga and draw. A million people have said this before, but practicing is the best thing you can do. Just don't give up on it. Best of luck to you! : )

Graphic designer needing advice for unhappy client?
New designer dealing with my first client and I’m having some trouble creating a logo that they would be happy with. They want it to be glittery. I haven’t found a realistic way to make a glitter effect/texture (I’ve watched a few YouTube videos and didn’t like how any of them turned out). They weren’t happy when I told them I could do a solid logo and then they could have glitter added in printing. The logo is going to go on t-shirts, totes, etc. But also on a business card and on their website. They wanted me to use a picture of glitter even when I explained that when they expanded the picture it would pixelate. Unfortunately the client still isn’t happy and is now saying I’m difficult to work with. Am I? Does anyone have any advice?

Is art university worth it?
Favourite answer:It's not to say you can't have success, but art school is perhaps the most expensive path to success. ... The odds of graduating with a job in your chosen field are very low, even lower if you choose a fine arts path. If you're deciding if it's worth it from a practical / financial stand point the answer is no.
