  • How can I get my background to stay in one specific place?

    Like this website...change the size of your window and watch how he stays in the same location in relation to the content/body.

    http://www.jamieoliver.com/

    and others, the background is always in the same position no matter the size of the screen.

    Thanks!

  • images and elements falling off the edge of div when window gets smaller?

    I have a centered div element with images, gif actions, menu bars, etc. but when it is opened into a window that is too small the elements fall down to the next line instead of hiding.

    I've never seen this happen before! Only in tables that are too small. But im not using a table, promise! (I despise thee, o table).

    But anyway, what can i do to get my elements to float and stay in place rather than jump to the next line?

  • List/Menu form needs action on submit?

    I have a form with a list created with links assigned for each option

    Code:

    <form id="form1" name="form1" method="post" action="">

    <label for="Search by Category">Search by Category</label>

    <p><select name="Search by Category" id="Search by Category" accesskey="1" onChange="go()">

    <option value="1.html">Accounting </option>

    on submit I want the selected option (there are about 100) to link to it's page

    ie: on submit if "dance" is selected I want 4.html to be the next page that pops up like an option menu to navigate a business directory

    i'm looking for a code something like onchange go

    java would be ok

    but basically its just a list with 100 options and 100 co-ordinating pages and when you select your entry point and press submit i want it to link to that page

    no, i dont want to use css or spry menus.

    I would prefer not to use PHP or ASP or any other server side scripting

    here is an example:

    http://shelbycountychamber.chambermaster.com/direc...

    i want something similar to their business directory option 1

    Thanks!

  • Dreamweaver: images show up in browser as ?

    The latest website I made in Dreamweaver, the preview only works specifically in Firefox 3 on the computer I used to create the site. It will not work on any other browser on that computer (it is my computer at work). And it won't work on on any browser on any other computer.

    I created all of the files on the desktop in the same folder and have not moved any files or changed any files. Like all websites I make I started with a plan so that none of the files would need to be rearranged later. I have received no warning messages or anything since creating this site. And the only part of the site that doesn't work are the images.

    Any help on getting the files to work in other browsers?

  • An artist/body of art that deals with future hopes and dreams? or bridal?

    I'm looking for an artist/body of art that focuses on someone's future hope and dreams? ie: someone looking toward the future and manifesting their hopes into their work.

    bonus points: an artist that deals with brides /bridal /hope chest / trousseau / but not a photographer.

    Thanks in advance!
