  • Type 1 to Type 2 diabetes?

Done a bit of research but cannot find a clear answer. All the sites I visit to seem to be specific in one or the other. I am type 2 diabetic (non insulin dependent). My daughter is type 1 (insulin dependent). Is it possible for a type two diabetic to eventually progress, maybe in time, into a type 2? Does any one here know?

  • diabetic dog ??

I have 2 dogs, 1 is a stray, and one is a rescued, both bitches. They are both great dogs and get along like mother and daughter. http://funshare.netatronix.com/lolly-lou.jpg

Both are house trained, and have been very clean up to now (last 3 days). But the little one has been drinking a hell of a lot of water, and I do mean a lot. And peeing, flooding out the kitchen floor, something she has never done in the 3 years I have had her. She is a little over weight for her size, but she is a little gannet, (eat everything, and anything she see’s) I think this stems from before I got her as she was ill treated. She is booked in the vet’s for Sunday next. But would I be right in thinking this may be diabetes, as I have never heard of a diabetic dog, or would you think this could be something else. Many thanks in advance for your responses.

  • Taxes in Greece?

I am trying to get some info together, and do some calculations, ready for a move to.

Possibly late this year or early next, Greece (Rhodes) if anyone knows, can you please tell me what the basic rate of income tax in Greece is. The present rate of v.a.t… also is their any equivalent of our council tax, paid to the local authorities.

How good and reliable is their internet connections, as my living would rely on it. How much would a good BB connection cost, water rates if any, and the cost of electric.

Many thanks. Any info would be greatly appreciated; it may be something I have not given thought to.

  • Persian cat de-mat?

I have a Persian puddy tat. But it is costing me a fortune at the vets. (110.00 pounds a go) To have a de-mat, we brush and comb daily but the fur in between his legs, especially the back legs keep matting (knotting) and is difficult to brush out, although he like being nursed, petted, and brushed, but he don't like being brushed there, an get annoyed.

Any body got a Persian, that we can pick brains. please.
