  • Photoshop elements brushes not working properly?

No matter what I try, my brushes don't work properly. They still work, but it's like their constantly set on the "scatter" option. I've attempted reseting my tools, but that doesn't help at all. It makes drawing and coloring in difficult, especially with brushes that I need at a specific angle. Can someone help me fix this problem?

  • Can an alter ego be good?

I'm working on an english project that includes finding the alter ego in the characters of a book I'm reading (The Fringe and the Fury). Kellan, a strong-minded female character who supports the government's idea of "only the strong survive", changes her ways once seeing the wrong in the cities. Would this be considered an alter ego--being originally arrogant and self-centered but then suddenly becoming kind and caring? Or would this go the other way (she has always been kind and caring, but has been showing her alter ego the entire time she was in the cities)?

  • Product name for a pencil case?

Howdy! I'm in Graphic Design and I'm designing and making a product that I'll be selling at the end of the school year. For the past week I've been coming up with names for the product, since that's what my teacher asked us to do, but turns out he didn't like any of my ONE HUNDRED IDEAS (Seriously that's ridiculous)

BOTTOM LINE: My product is a pencil case shaped like a piece of food. The line is going to consist of a burrito, a sandwich, etc. I need six "brilliant" names for this product line, and I'm hoping for some help with this :)

    Thanks in advance!

  • Teenage complaints about exams?

It's for an english assignment. We have to write a "Teenage Declaration of Independence", and our class decided on gaining independence from exams. The ideas I have now aren't enough for the paper, so I'm looking for help.

    Examples:

    1. Stress causes students to do poorly.

    2. Not an accurate test of our abilities.

    3. Lowers grades (In my school, if a student has 100% in a class, the exams lower that)

    4. Has too much of an impact on our grades.

I can't think of any more past that... Any ideas?

  • Looking for dark haired female actresses/singers?

I've been having difficulties finding relatively young female actresses/singers with dark, almost black hair. I'm working on a project for a book of mine by giving the characters actors/actresses, but since I can't find anyone to play for the teenage girl, I'm looking for singers, too.

Count out Nina Dobrev, Katy Perry, and Lucy Hale

PS. Do you think Selena Gomez looks like a sophomore? 'Cause... I mean, she can look like maybe a junior but I'm not too sure if she can rock the sophomore look... O.o

  • Name for a male superhero?

Hi! So the whole premise of this idea is a regular teenage boy named James Wills who gives into the peer pressure of his best friend and in doing so basically becomes a mutant superhero. It's a novel of mine that I'm writing and I seriously can NOT find any ideas whatsoever as to what the citizens are going to call him. Most who listen to the news think that he's causing the trouble instead of preventing it, but his name will come from a little boy in the midst of a disaster who's all like, "Mommy, look! It's-" blah, blah, blah SUPERHERO NAME! But I can't think of a decent one!

James goes from geek to hunk and starts gaining these crazy telekinesis powers, enough to disintegrate a bullet in midair and all that cool stuff. But in doing so, his skin takes on a frosty white color that spreads over his face and as the days go by and he continues to use this form every now and again, his eyes glow an electric blue and a symbol on his hands starts to form. Whatever he touches in that form with his palm is imprinted with the dust of his symbol, but when wind passes it disappears (I haven't gotten to that part yet) but that's practically the mutant he turns into.

Any ideas on a decent superhero name? All I'm coming up with is cheesy things, like, Boy Wonder. What the biscuit?! That's a terrible name! The little boy who comes up with it can definitely do a better job than me with this! So any ideas?

  • Can't pair wireless keyboard to iPad?

I currently. Own the iPad2 and haven't had problems with it or my wireless keyboard until now. When attempting to connect it, it would say to either turn the keyboard on or make sure that it's in distance of the iPad... When it's already on and in distance. The green light is blinking (which I forgot what that's about) and when I tried to repair my keyboard, the iPad doesn't even recognize this.

Any reasonable explanation for this and how to fix it?

I've never written in a guy's point of view, so I'm wondering if it sounds realistic:

  • Tumblr blog title ideas?

Hello there! I'm totally drawing a blank here for a title idea. I think back to my hobbies, but nothing comes to mind (which is strange considering that my favorite hobbies require creativity haha!)

I enjoy writing(mostly romance, science fiction, action), drawing (sketching, mostly people), and reading. I'm relatively quiet and shy, but when I'm writing I'm outspoken and have an easier time finding words to use. That's about as much as I can say for now haha! :) Any ideas?

Uh... Hiya! I'm having difficulties finding quotes that suggest that Walter is bringing down the family. It doesn't matter how he does so, I'm just trying and trying to find something that proves this, but I can't! Do you have any ideas for quotes on this?

  • Help refining my book idea?

My idea is... choppy. I'm not sure how to clear it up and I don't even have a generally stable plot. It's romance, just to warn you. This is what I have so far for my idea:

Kimber has been training with her mom since she was a girl to sing, dance, and perform. She can't stand the actresses' snotty attitudes, and thankfully hasn't picked up from them yet. Her dancing partner, Alec, has always liked her more than just friends, but refuses to show his true feelings for her. He only knows this side of her, and realizes that she doesn't even bat an eye his way once off stage. There isn't a moment when someone will see her without her earbuds in, unless, that is, if she's up on stage. When her mom doesn't have her practicing, or not even speaking at all, Kimber is out on the streets with her best friend, Juliette, who knows nothing of her actual lifestyle with her psychotic mom. On her birthday one year Juliette brings her to a part of town Kimber has never seen, and finds a love for an old, run down music shop selling old time records and CDs. Not to mention the lovely young lad behind the counter. Caden has been working at his uncle's shop ever since his dad left him and his mom, who eventually was separated from her son when he was ten. He has know Juliette for years, and soon finds a new relationship building with this girl's best friend-

-And I don't know where to go from there. It's sort of like me drawing a blank... literally. If that's even possible. But *shrug* That just sums up the whole concept of my thoughts on this book. What do you think? What would you like to see in a romance book?
