How can I improve my prologue?

I'm trying to strengthen the beginnings to my story, and I'm hoping I've done a pretty good job in my prologue. What do you think?

I'm just wondering why you made it into a prologue at all. It works better as Chapter One. Not every story needs a prologue, you know.

Overall it's not bad. I'd probably shorten some of the sentences during the fight scene to make it a little quicker. Break it up a little. But it's not bad.

I would change the line "To fulfill her needs."

Doesn't sound natural to me, not to mention gives the impression of a steamy romance or something.

But, keep up the good work, it seems your story flows well. :-)
