How do I convince my mom to let me buy a different phone?

I've mentioned that my stylo 4 may be dying, I don't know when it will. I've had it for about two years now, and the phone app on it keeps messing up. I've had to use my android repair app twice, and it's worked for a while then new problems appear. I'd like to buy this lg stylo 5 I found on eBay, it's on good shape, has a few minor scratches on the protector, but otherwise it's in good shape.

Here's the problem: she bought me a brand new stylo 6 that I hate, refuse to use it no matter what, but she also spent almost $400 on it with case and everything. She says I Have to use this thing of my stylo 4 dies, and I can't do that. I've already stated my reasons. 

This stylo 5 + on eBay is going to cost about $90, which I can cover with my money I got at the casino. It's free shipping, and I would use it gladly. How do I convince her to let me buy it?

I'm not trying to come across as ungrateful, but still, if you get something you won't use, why focus on the money instead of practicality?

To cw: to buy stuff from eBay or amazon, I have to ask permission, as stuff is bought on her credit card. I don't control money well, and both are under her name. I buy things for me under her account, as she has Prime, which means I don't have to pay shipping. She lets me use her account, as long as I ask permission each time. Doesn't matter what it is I want to buy, it's Her account and permission his required.

Update 3:

To cw again: the stylo 6 phone is great, yes, the sound system on it just drives me crazy. It's just plain too loud. I may have compromised hearing, and if I turn down the volume or do anything on the equalizer, the lower tomes fade to near nothing. 

The phone is a good upgrade, but the speakers are not. I prefer the speakers and sound system on the stylo 4 much more.

    Mine is a Nokia 2014 still working just fine. I changed the battery 2 times and I did not find a single site that I could not access, yet.

    Find a phone repairer and ask for an evaluation to see if it is a hardware or software problem and see if it is worth to repair or purchase another...

    Mom and your money from the casino seems to be a conflict of responsibility. Sounds like I agree with the other folks, buy it yourself.  I had to look up what 'stylo' was all about, and it seems you mom bought you a better phone, and you just don't like its cosmetics.  https://versus.com/en/lg-stylo-4-vs-lg-stylo-6

    Ths sort of question belongs under Family, not under Phones.

    Sounds like an android problem. Maybe backup some of your important stuff and then do a factory reset on the phone?
