If you have kids before you go to prison, if you get out 14 years later will the state come after you for child support?

    You betcha they will...if they have been on some sort of public assistance you will be expected to help reimburse costs...if there was a standing order of CS it does NOT get dropped just because you got yourself in trouble enough to be incarcerated.....you're gonna need a lawyer for this one.

    Some states are making new laws that keep people in prison from racking up unreasonable amounts of back pay in child support. However, generally the answer is yes, most states will require you to pay support for the years you have missed.

    The way today's "Justice System" works? You'll probably get a Huge Welfare Check!

    If there were any Real justice? You would get a bill to reimburse any costs to your victims and another bill to reimburse the citizens for your food and housing expenses.

    Your family were some of your Victims who should be included in that First Bill.

    Did the kid need to eat during those 14 years? Pretty sure the answer is a resounding YES.
