How to get my kitten to eat kitten food rather than breast milk? HELP!!!!?

this kitten was born around the end of the summer and it is about to turn into the winter and for the love of god i can not get him to eat kitten food which i know he needs because he is sooooo skinny!!! i have tried everything but he will always go back to breast feeding and the mom doesnt stop it. he is so small and i dont know what to do! we have tried 3 brands of very expensive kitten food lol and he still wont even do anything but smell it. he will drink water and drink milk out of fridge but wont eat hard food. he eats something but we have no idea what it is and this reason being we know is because we find lil poop pebbles every once in a while. i have found out that he likes chips ( no i did not feed him the chip he jumped on the couch and went into a bag and as i walked around the corner bam! he was eating a cheez doodle!) but thats the onlyu solid that he will eat and its driving me crazy! i want to wean him but i dont want him to die either anyone have any solutions?

Update:

you think he will still eat it even tho it stinks to him?

If he's still nursing and the mother cat isn't pushing him away, he isn't ready to be weaned.

You can mix some KMR (kitten milk replacer, found at walmart) with some stinky canned food to help him to become curious about solids.

He's still defecating because milk is a FOOD for him, not just something he drinks.

Try mixing solid food with milk and see if it eats it. If it does, then lessen the milk in it each time you give it. Also try some food with very strong smell, cats smell better than humans so it might smell bad to you but delicious to the cat.

Take mom to vet to vet, have her spayed and given a shot to dry up the milk. If you don't spay her he will get her pregnant in a few weeks and you will have another batch of kittens.

And she will still be nursing the father of them.

Have you tried giving him small amouts of tuna or grilled chicken? Maybe if he will take that you could start to sneak the cat food into it and gradually increase the cat food and reduce the chicken or tuna

put some wet food on your finger and put in the mouth. When she realize it's food then show her the bowl.
