Well that is really hard to answer that question! You can find God where ever you go and God will forgive you everytime. But even if you have God it wont change addiction. Addiction rules the body and weakens the mind. Im sure the family is frustrated with his continous relapses. God will forgive all his children but tht doesnt mean that your family will. I would say that the family is fed up and playing tough love. Just express to you nephew he needs to get it together! He cant advertise that he has God in his life to make the family think he has changed! Tell him that! Tell him he is going to have to Prove Himself, get his crap together and earn the respect of his family back. Tell him he can turn his life around and possible help others with sharing how he got hisself out of this mess. Sometimes when people help others, it is enough to make them feel better about themselves to get straight. If you dont feel confortable, print this page and mail it to him! He will know you care by your efforts. And you are a good person for your efforts. Good luck!
