First Wedding Anniversary?

My husband and I will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary on the 8th of August (I know not that long to plan something), but we wanted to stick fairly close to home. I can't seem to find anything interesting to do in the Kansas area... We'd even go to Kansas City if we could find something we liked. I don't think Worlds of Fun or Oceans of Fun is really for us. We're not really museum or theatre people either. We love beautiful places, fun places to eat, we love anything with humor... and normally would love a good theme park but not for this particular occasion. We don't want to do something we could do (or would think to do) any old weekend.

Can anyone help us out with ideas? Thanks so much.

    You could go to a comedy club.Those are a ball to go to.

    If you ever get a chance to see Jeff Dunham he's awesome.He does his show with puppets and ventriloquism.

    Maybe try a comedy club. I've been to a couple and had a great time. Rent a Harley and ride. Rent a boat or jetski. Go to a kich-*** gokart track.
