I will be stationed in Vilseck Germany as an Army Civilian, will I be given the same amnenities that soldiers?

do such as temporary housing, onbase housing, px use and so on and so forth? Any information on what to expect as an army civilian over there would be great.

Update:

Yes this will be a GS job. My husband posted the question and he got the GS job... I will be going with him. We're trying to figure out if they will put us up in temp housing and whatnot...

alot of which will depend on what civilian catagory your living in....is this a GS Job? If so then you will get most all of what soldiers get as far as being able to use the facilities and housing. If not then you may have to feind for yourself to a point. I need a little more info as far as what you are hired for.(job wise) I was stationed in vilseck and now have lived in germany for some years. If you have any other questions drop me an E-mail and I would be glad to let you know sandyb150102 at yahoo dot com.

Yes to the PX, Commissary, gym, on-base eateries, etc. OVERSEAS ONLY. They'll mark your CAC in bold letters accordingly.

    No to the on-base housing.
