Compared to a lot of people right now we are doing pretty well.

We own our own business and while that has been slow lately our bills are still paid and we still have food.

Our mortgage is paid on time as well. We don't have the extra to go buy whatever we please but we certainly aren't hurting for anything either. I know it can always be worse.

Fuel prices hit our business really hard so now that they have come down a bit it is a little better.

We do wonder from time to time how we are going to pay this or that, but we always work it out. We have stressful moments when not much is coming in but like I said we also know it can always be a lot worse.

Bills??? Oh sh*t you mean you are supposed to pay them! HA. We live paycheck to paycheck. My husband is a landscaper. Bad job to be in when we live in the north country also a bad job to be in right now with the economy...who do you think they cut first the person landscaping their yard or the electricity?! We have lived this way for so long though. The only part that stinks this year is his boss lost several accounts so he isn't giving my husband the raise he was promised and he isn't getting a Christmas bonus so right now we have no money for the kiddo's Christmas present so now we start selling stuff off. But, at least we still have our house! Thank Heavens. I know it could always be worse!

My husband and I used to live on paycheck to paycheck when I left my job due to having a baby back in 2001. We normal get a large tax refund to pay all of our debts from 2002 to 2005. We work so hard to pay everything off so we are now debt free. We are doing great with our financial situation and we are much happier now.

I'm actually doing great. Have lots of cash in the bank and have a very secure job. Have been paying off some debt in the last year and feel good about my finances.

Waiting for the right time to do some home remodeling. I think I will be able to get an incredible deal here in the next few months.

we are living paycheck to paycheck, pay all our bills on time. Don't have any money saved up and are struggling to start. Unfortunately we do have alot of credit card debt but we are not late on payments and always pay alot more than the minimum. We are not lacking in essentials though.

We had some rough times in the summer with fuel prices and whatnot. But now we have a good amount of money in the bank, mortgage is always paid on time, and we are doing ok. It could always be worse.

  • We're not really in hardship, but we have cut out a few of the unnecessary things, like my beloved Turner Classic Movies. It does help that we have no debt and live within our means though.
