I have been working at mcdonalds for the past two weeks and am training to be a manager. The owner is coming down to the store tomorrow to talk to me and get any input and ideas from me on how I can improve store productivity and performance. I've noticed that things do run fairly smoothly in the store with a little bit of instruction from the managers. There are of course a few employees who are a bit lazy and would need some motivation and close supervision to push them in the right direction. I don't want to start just pointing fingers at specific people or anything. I haven't come up with any really good innovative ideas that could improve performance. Does anyone have any really good, creative ideas that I could present to the owner tomorrow??

I started a blog for mom's and I'm wondering if there are any ways I can promote and advertise it so that people will start checking it out??? Does anyone know of any way?? Thanks :)

My sister in law went to the doctor this morning. She was one cm dilated, and the doctor scraped her membranes. She thinks that her water partly broke about three hours ago but, she hasn't had any major contractions or anything. Has anyone had anything similar happen, and how long did it take afterwards until you had the baby?

I have a job interview today and I don't really want it. It's one that I will take if they will pay me what I want to be paid, but it is a really boring job. But, next week I have another job interview for a job that I would love to have! It fun and exciting and my dream job. I don't know how much they will pay but they should pay about the same amount maybe a bit less. I wish that I had the better interview first so that I could see where that is going to go before I have to go into this other interview. Should I reschedule the first interview until next week or should I just go in and tell the people that I have another interview and would like to see where that goes before I make my decision?

I went in for a very important job interview. It is the perfect job for me. I would love to get this position! I feel as if the interviewers were very impressed with my answers. And the interview was going perfect. Until, one of the interviewers started asking my specific questions about my college course that I took 4 years ago! I haven't had any experience with the portion of my schooling since I graduated college and I wasn't able to answer his questions. I just told him that it had been awhile and that I would need to brush up in that area, but I am a very quick learner and I love challenges. After that, I was able to recover very quickly again. They still have two more people to interview, and said that they would be calling me the end of next week. When I was leaving, the lady interviewer followed me and gave me her card and told me that if I had any more questions I could call her any time and that she would definitely keep in touch with me. Do you think that I still have a good chance of getting the job, or do you think it's a no go?

I am a mother of three who would like to work to make some extra income. I have my computerized accounting diploma and my business applications. I've taken a ton of different seminars and I am qualified for a variety of different jobs. The only problem is daycare is so expensive that I can't find a job that will pay me enough where it will be worth going out to work! It's very frustrating. I was just wondering if there is anyone else who is working from home. If there is, how do you find a legitimate job working from home? Any advice?

Everytime I try to quit my job, my boss tells me no and says that she will find a solution for whatever reason I give for quitting. The truth is I feel like I am not going anywhere in my job and my talents would be utilized more doing something else. I have tried to quit three times already within the last month and a half. What should I say without telling her that I think my job is sh***y?
