If the Euro was equal or higher to the pound... ?

As you all probably already know, the influx of migrants in other countries is highly influenced by the stronger currency of that particular country, making immigrants better off in a foreign country.

England, for example is one of those, there has been an increase of migrants in the previous years, I mean, fair enough, people emmigrate to be better off and to make a decent living. My question is, since all that is influenced by the stronger currencies, what whill then happen If the Euro was equal or higher to the pound, would the Europeans return back to their home land because and be closer to the family or would they stay, well... that's if things are ofcoures abit cheaper.

Migrants can here to find employment because they cannot get employment in their homeland. Whatever happens to the pound they will still stay here to work because if they go back home there are no jobs waiting for them. They will remain the same as before.
