I would call the manager of the place and ask them who specifically worked on your car. Find out who and ask the manager to see if he can speak with them. I'm sure he wouldn't want any theives in his shop. Tell them if you don't get any responce back, you are calling the police to report them stolen from his shop. Say, I'd rather give you the chance first to see if anyone in the shop has some details.

Then, I would call the police directly and report them stolen once you have given them time to respond.

Maybe if they shake things up they can get your gear back. Other than that, I'd say it's a loss. Never leave anything valuable in your car like that ever. Esp. when you get your car fixed. I would recomend backing your next CD collection up on a hard drive to just in case.

I would say, "Has anyone found my CD cases at your shop? They may have been removed during service on my car and I was wondering if anyone found them or forgot to put them back in my car". This way you don't sound like you are accusing them of stealing, which may have been what happened. If no one owns up to it, I would tell them you feel your CD's were stolen from your car there and ask to speak to a manager about it. You can either stop taking your car there or don't put valuables in your car anymore when you have it serviced. You may just have to cut your losses because if they were stolen, it's highly unlikely anyone there would admit to it. You can't really do anything unless you can prove the CD cases were stolen.

Ask them if anyone has turned in some CD's. If he says no ask if it is possible that they were accidentally knocked out of the car by the person servicing them (explain that they are usually kept under the seat but could have slid out and accidentally been kicked out of the car as the mechanic was getting out ) and have him ask the mechanic if he saw any CD's on the ground after working on your car.

I think that you should definately ask the place about it. Simply say something like, "I noticed two of my cd cases were missing and I was wondering if the staff may have found them sitting around." This way, you let them know you noticed them missing without straight up accusing them. While they may have been stolen, they may also have been set on a self to be kept safe and forgotten about. I don't know why they would have been moved since it seems like they would have been safe there, but who knows.

Ask the person in charge if they locked your car while it was in your custody, Let them knwo you are missing your cds and let them know they shoudl keep an eye out incase "someone in the neighborhood" is breaking into the vehicles because they are such a good business they dont need something like that to happen...

ok see first you have to look in places you usually go with the cds. like from the car to the house to the radio etc. if you still cant find them then as the people like this....excuse me,when i was here last time did i happen to leave something here? and see what they say

u should totally ask them .. who cares what they think and chances are if they get all defincive they took them .... i mean thats 100 cds times the normal 20$ on each cd spent .... i would do something about it ... good luck ... have a blessed day !!!!!!!
