If Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris fought for real, who would win?
The ages they were when they filmed Way of the Dragon, have them be that age for the Q.
2 weeks agoDid Bruce Lee beat up 40 people?
Seeing that YA is about to shut down I may as well ask this question now (should have done it a long time ago). A long time ago someone told me back in high school that Bruce supposedly took on 40 people at once and came out on top. A longtime friend told me that it wasn't literally 40 people that he fought. Something like that would have been impossible even for Bruce Lee he tells me. According to him it was actually 5 - 6 really good masters who challenged him once. Saw a video on Youtube that talks about the former incident but not the later.
Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced and sorry that YA is going to close. This was my ''go to'' answer site for the longest time.
Good bye.

2 Answers2 weeks agoWith YouTube these days, that teaches you just about everything, will dojos go out of business?
Hello,
You want to know how to defend yourself against, say a chock hold, YouTube will give you minimum 5 different ways to do it. You want to learn to do, say a roundhouse kick, punch, block, etc, YouTube has tutorials on that. Want to learn how to defend against a knife attack, YouTube has tutorials on that. Want to learn how to deal with weapons, there are tutorials on that. All you need to do is find a partner to practice and spar with. With YouTube and the internet, will dojo's become obsolete?

1 Answer3 weeks agoWould you try a spinning hook kick or a jump spinning hook kick in a real life street fight?
Hi there,
I understand that due to the momentum in the spinning, a spinning hook (aka. heal kik) kick and a jump spinning hook kick are among the most destructive kicks in all of martial arts. You land one of these, the opponent is not getting up for sure. But, in the split second you turn your back and the enemy moves in on you, you will be on the ground and possible killed.
Have you or would you try this in a real life street fight where you are literally fighting for your life?
4 Answers3 weeks agoDo people know how to defend themselves even if they're not formally trained in martial arts? ?
For some context, most of my friends are not formally trained in such traditional martial arts like Taekwondo, Muay Thai, and others, but when I asked some of them, they responded they don't have time or knew what they had to do. Help a fellow warrior out on this, please tell me I'm not alone in this curious question.
