  • how much does just TIP rhinoplasty cost in chicago?

I would like to know an estimate of how much just TIP, not full, rhinoplasty costs in Chicago approximately. I know the average price of a full rhinoplasty, that is not hard to find, but since tip rhinoplasty is less complicated and just focuses on a small part, how much would it be in Chicago or the Chicagoland area? Thank so much in advance.

  • Why would an older man be interested in me?

I am 20 and my 50-something college professor keeps asking me out. He is a successful and pretty wealthy and definitely active guy. I am a 20 yr old student... I guess somewhat attractive (blue eyes long blond hair). I just don't understand what could he possibly want from such a young girl like myself? Anyone know what could be going on in that crazy noggin of his? Thanks!

  • Disputing a condo association fine?

I got fined for noise complaints by my condo association for $200.0o. They did not give me any details, other then there supposedly was noise and of course the happy news about the fine. Supposedly the police came and knocked on my door and no one answered.

Well today I found out why. The cops came at 530 in the morning when they were called, which is complete bs because I work Monday mornings at 9 and never stay up past 2 the latest (and I certainly don't stay up at home). There is no police report. The police do have a record of being called over there, however all they have noted is that there was no incident and all was quiet, and therefore could not give me any documentation.

Is this a strong enough case to not pay the fine? Because they are honestly fining me on something I did not do. What should I do??

  • Can you dispute a condo assocation fine for something that never happened?

I just received a letter in the mail from my condo association being fined $200 for "excessive noise"

    Here it is:

"you and or your guests are verbally fighting in the hall outside of the unit on the ground floor. Police were called and no one would answer your door. You are hereby fined $200.00 for repeated violations of our noise rules"

First off, police never visited our condo, and second off, if they had, I can assure you we would definitely open the door. The past few weekends my and my boyfriend weren't even home on the weekends (the only time we have fun and go out and maybe even consider being "excessively loud"... that's what bars are for. The letter does not give me any date of offense and as of right now the condo association hasn't return my phone calls.

In the paragraph I put up, it doesn't make sense because the ground floor does NOT have any units... only laundry rooms and elevators. I honestly think one of my neighbors has it in for me and its a shame I cant figure out who it is. In fact, it has to be someone that has it in for me because we do not make any noise. The noisiest thing we do past 11 is when my boyfriend occasionally practices acoustic guiatar (not loud). I have not recieved any phone calls as soon as this supposed event went down.

In the condo building where I lived I honestly am starting to feel harassed with these complaints. Something similar happened 2 or 3 months ago when me and my boyfriend came home at 3am and 5 minutes later we had a cop knock on our door telling us that someone called in about the noise... except we had been home for literally 5 minutes and the cop even saw we were in our pajames and didnt say anything other than to disregard it.

Sorry... one last thing. I dont know if this matters, but our condo doors automatically lock after 10pm, so no one without a key to a unit can get inside (including cops) so someone I guess has to be letting them in.

I am starting to feel harassed and as if I live in jail. After the first police occurance, even though nothin happened, I am still paranoid about all noise. I dont even turn on the tv too loud for fear and paranoia and the sheer discomfort this neighbor has caused me. It has gotten to the point where I am too afraid to have people over because of this bull****.

Any advice? I scared and angry and refuse to pay $200.00 for something me and my boyfriend did not do. I am at my wits end...

  • Thoughts on this fight?

This is really bothering me and I have no one to talk to right now because I am at work... Me and my boyfriend have almost been going out for one year. It has been a great year. We occasionally fight, however, there have been no serious fights. Except one we had last night. We went out to a bar we usually frequent on Thursday nights and had a great time... enjoyed drinks, danced, etc... We were very happy and having so much fun... We stayed together and then socialized with other people (we know most people that go there). I was with my girlfriends and one of them introduced me to a guy who was roommates with the bartender, so he scored me free drinks (me and my boyfriend are in college so we are pretty straped for cash). Anyways, this guy works at a bar I was planning on going to the following day with my boyfriend and friends so we exchanged numbers because 1. he could get me in the bar and 2. i needed to know when hes working to get deals on drinks. While we were exchanging numbers, my boyfriend walked up and asked what I was doing. I introduced him to the guy and explained and then he was fine with it and walked away.... (while i was exchanging numbers he was right next to me but not paying attention. I would never cheat on my boyfriend, we were planning on getting married.... However later that night we got in a fight because of me exchanging numbers... this fight got so bad that we got physical.... he pushed me and i pushed back to defend myself... He was yelling at me and said what I did was wrong even though I had no intentions of any relationship wrong doing. It was a nightmare... he pushed me on the floor and I ripped his shirt....

We got home after I dragged him into a cab (we live together) and we continued to scream and fight. He started packing his bags to move out but then passed out because we both had work tmrw morning (it was 4 am).

Honestly, we loved each other so much, and this was the worst fight we ever got into... I feel bad for giving my number out, but I did not have any intentions of going out on a date. Now we are not even speaking to eachother.

Now tonight he is going out with his friends while I am at home feeling terrible and legitimately sick and feverish from crying the whole night.

Any opinions? Would ur boyfriends get as mad? As guys, would you get this mad and break up for it?

I am sorry for the rant but I feel terrible.

  • I make below minimum wage in Chicago...?

I make below minimum wage in Chicago. I am 18, make $7.00, work in a kids' learning center that has more than 7 employes and do not make any tips. Basically, I know I am entitled to $7.50, as it was agreed with me and my boss, but she has failed to give me a pay raise and now the company owes me money. It has been around 2 months. How do I claim this money and what can I do? Are there any fines that the buisness may get? There is another employee working there with the same problem as me, is it worth getting a lawyer?
