  • Do you think it's screwed up...?

Do you think it's screwed up that Yahoo! Answers puts Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual...etc. in the same category as "people with disabilities" and "senior citizens," instead of the relationships section? I hate being political correct; I'm totally not that guy, but ****..... that's pretty offensive.

  • Need help with a prank.?

Now this one is going to be fairly elaborate, so don't be afraid to get into too much detail. I may just take some details from everyone's posts and come up with a highly elaborate master plan.

So here's the set-up, I lived out of the house for about a year now, and for no apparent reason my mother has decided to get very nosy. Well I would really like to teach her a lesson about invading my personal life.

I got a poor grade on a chemistry exam and she's convinced herself that I'm slacking or something (the grade is going to get dropped at the end of the semester anyway, lol.) She's also convinced herself that I'm gay simply because I don't tell her about my personal life. I'm not, btw. Also, she suspects I'm a drug addict of some kind. Also not true.

So here's what I need from you, the Yahoo! answers community. I need a list of evidence that I can "plant" to make her think I'm some sort of deviant wackjob, and I also need a way to plant this evidence unassumingly so she'll feel like some sort of detective when she finds out.

    I'm open to all suggestions.

  • How would you set up this equation?

A social club charters a plane at a cost of

    $42240

to take a group of members on an excursion to Atlantic City.

At the last minute, 8 people in the group decide not to go.

This raises the transportation cost per person by $22.

How many people originally intended to take the trip?

  • Small business ideas?

So there is a very reasonably priced store on a nice cobblestone street in the downtown of the city I live in. What is a nice, easy to run, yet profitable idea for a business to go here? It was a headshop, but the previous owners let the place get trashed and abandoned it.

  • Budget for a Europe trip.?

I have a $10,000 budget for a trip to Europe with just myself to pay for. I am going to London, Berlin, and Amsterdam, probably staying about a week at each. I worked this out to be 1,672 GBP for London, 2,111 euros for Berlin and 2,111 euros for Amsterdam. I am 17 now but I will be 18 when I take the trip (so I can drink in all countries and purchase marijuana in Amsterdam.) What types of activities should I do to keep myself busy. I am probably going with a buddy or two.

  • Fast compact car, used, under 20k?

I want to get a used compact car for commuting (about 40 miles a day round trip). Gas mileage is a concern, but I am looking for a performer. I am selling a 1998 Ford Escort ZX2 to get a new car, so if its specs don't beat the escort don't bother. I am really looking at a 2003 Lancer Evolution and a Volkswagen GTi, the Gti has better fuel economy, but the EVO has better performance. Please help me choose between the two or offer a good substitute. No civics please.

  • Good, cheap motorcycle?

I am finishing up a project at the end of this month and will have ~$1300 to spend on a motorcycle. I can already ride (I learned on a friends Ninja 650) and have taken a safety course. I would like one that is a mid displacement (400-650) with two cylinders (obviously). A cruiser would not be terrible, but I would rather have a sport bike. Suggestions? Also I have an Iron Horse mountain bike worth about $800 I could sell, so anything under $2000 I could deal with.

  • Conceptual 5 cylinder engine design - will this work?

Okay, so this is what I thought up of for an efficient yet powerful engine design. First is a regular inline 4 cylinder engine. Something similar to a Honda VTEC, but then there is an extra cylinder with the sole purpose of running a forced induction rotor into the inline-4. The 4 cylinders that power the crankshaft would be strong forged pistons that could handle in excess of 60 psi, and the induction cylinder would produce about 10hp to spin a rotor creating about 50-55 psi. This engine type could KILL a v6 with and probably use less gas, too. The same could be done with economy cars, just have 2 forged pistons on the crankshaft and an induction piston and you could easily pull off 100 hp at about 30 psi (I think). So, does anyone think this would work?

  • Possible to selectively abort child?

My wife is pregnant with identical triplets, but we only have plans for one child, as well as the income. Is it possible to abort two of them while keeping one healthy? I do not want to consider separating them through adoption and cannot afford the time or money for three children.
