Probably Columbia University, whose Modern
Lit department includes winners of Pulitzer and other prestigious prizes, and used to have such luminaries as Mark Van Doren--hinting at how long ago I was there.

Unless you are independently wealthy, studying modern lit is something you do on your own. Not something that you pay for = it does not lead to a job.
