Bluetooth speakers without annoying voice prompt saying "connection" etc?

Is there any way to turn off the annoying voice prompts on Bluetooth speakers. I just got a new one and this one also has an annoyingly loud woman's voice saying CONNECTION when it first turns on and I hate it. I would rather it only have a sound or be completely silent. Please help in case there is a way to turn this off or if you have any personal recommendations. Looking for a Bluetooth speaker that's preferably waterproof and can stand vertically. I'd like to spend less than $100. Thank you!

    The Klipsch Groove portable speaker plays a cool guitar chord on connect and disconnect. You can turn it on or off.

    The only way to avoid those announcements 

    is by using a speaker that doesn't have them.     

                 

    Expect to spend a lot more than $100 for a water-resistant vertical model.
