Any suggestions on where to get a watch battery?

Apparently the local jewelry store is closed until further notice. Then I tried in the chain pharmacy in town. The clerk said she cold sell me a battery, but couldn't put it in. I am not sure how to put one in, either. I opened the back and there's some kind of strap holding in the battery which I can't see how to remove it. It's a Casio LA670W. I could take it to a another jewelry store, but it's a long car trip and to a congested, heavy traffic area.

Update:

I tried what Robert J suggested. That batter strap won't budge.

    It's just a spring clip.

Hook the tip of a pin or needle under the lower end of the "strap" where it bends in to the watch - it's hooked over a protrusion on the plastic.

It just needs the very end pulling outwards (down in the photo) so it unhooks and the strap pops off the latch piece.

Lift the old battery out and put the new one in, smaller side first. Do not touch it with bare skin, it can make them tarnish.

Then hook the clip over the top latch and press it in to place so it clicks over the bottom latch.

Again, try and avoid skin contact, or at least wipe it with a dry cloth or tissue afterwards

Batteries Plus or Battery Patrol.  Some Walmart stores replace them in their Jewelery department.

You can pop up the retaining strap with a jewelers screwdriver to get to the battery.

    Martha is lost.

In your photo, on the strap's top part is a tab. Lift that gently. That end should snap out of place.

You managed to take off the cover. Putting it back in is much more difficult especially with positioning the seal correctly. Good luck on that!

Carry your watch to We Fix It, situated inside a Batteries Plus Bulbs store close to you, where a prepared partner can expertly introduce your new watch battery. How long watch batteries last? Not all fine watches use batteries, yet when they do, they should keep going for at any rate 2 years.
