Is it a good idea to take a Lexus RX300 w/210K on 630 mile trip? it's a round trip, so 1260. It burns a little oil and the tread is alright.?

    Buy several bottles of oil to take with you and check the oil level every 600 miles.

    Take spare oil and coolant and join a recovery organisation. AAA in the US, AA in the UK.

    Assuming the car is good around town, long trips are easy on cars.
