Have you ever been told to leave this country?

I have. You know the type. "Love it or leave it" which roughly translates to, "pretend America is incapable of evil or leave!" And I ask, "where to, friend? another country set on world domination? Or perhaps I should go to a country that America eventually plans to bomb/invade..that shouldn't be hard to find!". So okay, hypothetically one of these people actually "buys me a first class ticket to the nearest third world country". Will I be part of the "collateral damage" when America decides to invade the country you send me to? Will I enjoy the dictator America sets up in the country you send me to? Gee, I'm real sorry I don't just look the other way, wave my flag, and say "GO AMERICA!" like you do! I'm sorry I'm not blinded by my patriotism. Is that a qualification of living in America, being blinded by your patriotism? I got news for you, there's a BIG BIG world out there full of people who aren't Americans and they deserve to live every bit as much as I do! So, if denying them that makes me a bad American, I honestly couldn't care less! Good day!

Update:

@Dreaded. No, foreign policy is not the only factor, but in my book it is HUGE. We accept that "bombing was necessary" in some certain situation because we do NOT have to deal with it. We citizens keep watching "Desperate Housewives" or the Olympics and eating our favorite snacks, while our government is all around the world messing with other countries. Tell me, which is more dangerous to this country, my criticism or your apathy?

Update 2:

Oh! countries we are meessing/have messed with: Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt. We really like the middle east right now actually! And Africa. You know Germany doesn't even have a military because of the kind of stuff we do

It's still a valid thought, though perhaps it should be phrased as a suggestion.

There is no doubt that hatred of one's own country is in vogue among liberals. I'm not talking about a healthy, critical mindset. I'm talking about aping someone else's talking point on why one's country is , apparently, so awful.

Liberals will trip over each other in an attempt criticize the country because they have been taught that criticizing = learned.

If you live in the US and you think we are "set on world domination", perhaps you would find another country's position on the matter more to you liking. That isn't a command ... it's a perfectly logical suggestion.

The US isn't the least bit set on world domination, but you have it in your mind that it's true. Why not check out Australia or New Zealand? Apparently, the only litmus test for "good/bad" in regards to a country is its foreign policy.

Again, this is not a command ... it's a suggestion.

I'm as white as the driven snow and was told to go back to Norway by some con hicks in a southern locale...

I'm also as pure at the driven snow, gosh darn it, and most people like me!

We only have something like 800 military bases- surely we need more- how can we bring happiness to the rest of the world without force?

How about you, and a million of your like-minded liberal imbecile comrades go live in caves with your taliban heroes.
