How much does the case of a th350 weigh?

I'm looking to buy some parts from a guy and he is including a long tail th350 and many other parts for $50. I want to know how much the empty case, just the cast aluminum parts, weighs so I know how much I could scrap it for. Thanks

Maybe 20lbs? that's probably on the high end of the scale.

Its worth more to someone that can use it, than you can get in scrap price, assuming there is nothing wrong with it. Racers routinely destroy them, and they aren't made anymore, so that should tell you something.

Scrapping is a terribly shortsighted way to get rid of useable parts.

It is not worth the $50 to disassemble it considering the bushings and such in it.  You probably should pass.
