where can I buy transmission lines?

I need new transmission lines for my 1984 camaro, will have a 700-r4 in it. Just need new lines because the car didn't have them in it when I bought it. Or I need to know if I can just buy brake lines and bends them and put the fittings on them.

your local parts store will probably have it. if your local parts store doesn't have a part you need you can always try a chevy dealer

yes, use the steel tube ((appropriate size) or try a wrecking yard, do not use a rubber hose in place of the steel line, i had to throw that in just in case. bending it is fairly easy but i would try a wrecking yard first save you alot of time or check if any aftermarket lines are available

Your local Chevrolet dealership's parts department should be able to assist you with this. I recommend contacting them about the lines you are needing.

Yes you can buy the straight steel lines, fittings, etc from local advance, auto zone, etc and bend them yourself.

Or you can buy pre bent from GM parts dept., year one, classic tube, hawks third gen parts, fbody warehouse, summit racing, etc
