What is wrong with my Holmes One-Touch Heater?

I noticed that it was very cool in my room despite the heater being on. I got up and noticed the red glow from the heating coils is gone now. Is there any way I can fix this?

    There is like a tiny part of me that feels sorry for him too, but only because we don't know the full story. Maybe he is really mentally ill and was trying to get help or whatever, but then again maybe he was fully aware of everything he was doing.. he did plan it all out. So whether I feel sorry for him at all or not I think he still deserves the death penalty. As for you, I think we're all entitled to our opinions and the way we feel, but I don't see how you could hope for him not to die.
