Vintage/Thrift Stores near Times Square?

Hey, I'm going to NYC at the end of March with my school, and we'll be spending a few hours in Times Square (shopping and eating). I'm kind of a vintage girl, so I was wondering if there were any vintage shops or secondhand shops where you can get vintage-type clothes in or within walking distance of Times Square? Thanks!

    Well, Times Square is such a tourist-y area, there really aren't any thrift stores right there, and the closest one is probably the NYC Opera Thrift Shop at 222 East 23rd Street, between 2nd and 3rd Aves, which is actually a really good one, too (see links, below).
