neon tetra has odd lump and another has crooked spine?

About three weeks ago, one of my neon tetras developed a white bubbly cyst under his chin, he is eating, schooling and swimming fine. I do not suspect neon tetra disease as he should be dead by now. Last week another neon tetra in the school, developed a crooked spine, he too is eating, schooling and swimming fine. They will hide occasionally but always within an inch or two of the school. Water levels are normal, i have plenty of plants but i have no clue what could be causing this. I feed them flakes, could it be a vitamin deficiency? a disease? any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

i got home last night and the bubbly cyst is gone?!?!?! i have no clue what is going on but now i have three normal looking neons and one with a crooked spine any idea what it could be?

go to the pet store , where the school bought it and ask the person who owns the store (or workers) what is happeneing.

Sounds like they are getting old. Fish get tumors and cysts, and commercially bred neons don't have great reputation health wise.
