What percentage of the land from the Mexican Cession later became slave states?
otherwise any percentages about the whole west after the 13 original states will work too. i just need to have some number that shows that more states/territories became free instead of slave. thanks!

zero percent. Besides california (free state) all of the other territories entered the union AFTER the civil war. thus all were admitted as free stares. slavery was by then abolished
