Pre-Veterinary and Pre-med questions?

Hi, I am wondering if you take pre-med and pre-vet, what are the jobs you can get after graduation. I am not planning to attend graduate school. will US Army accept you if you have pre-vet or Pre-med degree? I am planning to do something like Healthcare. I want Nursing but the Universities are telling me that it's too competitive that i might not be accepted for Nursing but might be accepted for pre-vet and pre-med. I like to join US Army healthcare that you can only study for 4 years. Thanks

Why would you go pre-anything if you're not planning on going to graduate school? Pre-vet is specifically to prepare for vet school, and pre-med has no purpose other than to prepare you for medical school. The US Army does have a program that will help you pay for medical school, but you have to complete your residency with the Army.

Premed and pre-vet are not majors or degrees, they're just a series of intro science and math classes you'd take along with a major in order to qualify to apply to med or vet school. By themselves they really aren't all that useful for anything else. If you can't get into nursing, chances are good you won't do well enough in college to get into med or vet school.

if they offer pre-med then they offer pre-vet, they just don't have a formal track. The courses are generally the same.
