It usually lasts about 3 weeks. Some dogs may be in heat for a little longer (like an extra week or so), but the discharge is pretty minimal when it comes to the last week of the heat cycle.

At thje time of your puppies 1st and 2nd warmth cycle she continues to be turning out to be and if she have been to grow to be pregnant the foodstuff that she desires to maintain her very own improve and maintainance may well be going to her doggies. it ought to stunt her improve besides as make for a confusing transport. think of of it in terms of people... in basic terms because of the fact a woman starts off her menstral cycle on the age of 12 does not advise that's wholesome for her to get pregnant. provide your lab some time to mature and then once you're incredibly set on breeding her talk on your vet (or your brother) and talk approximately all of the possibilities of issues.
