tattoo idea - thoughts?

After re-reading Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice several times, I finally found a quote!

"Til this moment, I never knew myself"

It fits perfectly for the reason I'm getting it - being that the novel means a great deal to me personally, Plus it will always remind me that I'm capable of anything, to never say I can't do something. I was thinking of having the quote in a script very close to Jane Austen's own handwriting. It would go above my left ankle, and in another font have Pride and Prejudice just underneath the quote.

Thoughts?!?!

I think that sounds very cool, chances are you'll ALWAYS love the book, so the quote will be timeless.

Any tattoo you get, should be something that means something to you, and something you'll want when you're older. Also, consider WHERE you get it as some jobs, don't allow exposed ink, and wearing a turtle neck in July really sucks. I like your tattoo Idea though, without the human foot print, it sounds like it may look awkward. I suggest having someone draw it up for you if you haven't already :)

If I were you I wouldn't also put 'Pride and Prejudice' underneath it. You know where the quote came from, and it means something special to you. Putting where it came from underneath {I think} would be more for other people than yourself, and a tattoo should be for nobody but yourself, especially when it's a quote like that one. That being said, I absolutely love the idea! Good luck. :)

    don't.

why get it? is that the style these days?. you can always keep that quote in somewhere more safe and special. Let's say YOUR HEART. :)

are you really ready for a tattoo? think about that. will you want to wake up every morning and see it engraved on you body? the pain? you think you can just take it off like that?

its like saying.. im going to marry this girl and if i get sick of her later on ill divorce. that's just not right. :)
