cold pasta salad using zesty italian dressing?

Here's one. You can add whatever you like.

1/2 cup each: MIRACLE WHIP Salad Dressing and KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing 2 Tbsp. KRAFT 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese 2 cups penne pasta, cooked, drained 1 1/2 cups broccoli florets, blanched 1 cup chopped ham 1 tomato,, chopped 2 green onions, sliced

This serves four so you have some multiplying to do.

Honestly, the salad will depend on what you want to put in it. Usually a pasta salad has the following ingredients:

-Peppers (red, yellow or orange)

-Onion (red onion or green onion)

-Cheese (any kind you have in the fridge will work)

-Pasta (use a curly/swirly kind, the dressing sticks better)

-Meats (usually chicken, but you can use what you like)

-Tomatoes

-Olives (black, but you can use green)

-Dressing (creamy or not, you choice)

That's basically what goes in a pasta salad. When you cook the pasta though, you want it to be "al dente", which means cooked, but still slightly firm.

you can pretty much make a pasta salad out of anything lol you can do it with dressings based mayo based etc you can make currry pasta salad (its good i make it alot)

just make sure u dont make it too wet as when it sits it will soak it up and you dont want it watery and u can also add abit more later if needed

here is one also

pasta (your choice)

mayo

dill

red onion

celery

red pepers

mix and let it sit.. and you can watever peppers u like i do red for the color

and the curry one you can just put a couple spoonfuls of curry powder in the mayo and mix with the pasta and add S&P and sum green peas

don't use strange dressings for a good and fresh cold pasta try this recipe:

mix in a bowl small tomatoes such as the Piccadilly variety sliced in half, tuna fish corn, black and green olives in pieces, mozzarella, and maybe if you want also small shrimps

as dressings use only olive oil and salt, if you like some lemon. use small pasta like mezze penne or farfalle & don't cook it too much or it will become gluey

I like to add tomatoes, red or green onions, cucumber, black olives and feta cheese. Sometimes I dice some red or green peppers really small too.

i use cheddar cheese,pepperoni,black olives,green pepper and a little red onion.. of course your noodles.. sometimes i add a little parmesan cheese
