I NEED A PRO AT ELECTRICAL STUFF!?
If your taping an electrical transformer and it explodes, why does everything turn dark for a split second? Does the same happen to humans?

If a distribution transformer explodes while you are taping it. Its going to be dark for more than a second. Most likley it will be dark forever because death last more than a second. Are you referring to the bright blue/white flash arc? That would act just like a flashbag gernade. But explode is a totally different scenario.
