Is this site safe: windowsupdate.microsoft.com?
Is this a Worm link? Is it safe? It tried downloading an "update" without me clicking anything (did it right when I visited the site). Plus it dosen't look like the current Microsoft website (older version). AND... it has a
example.microsoft.com, is that the official Microsoft? Thanks!

It is an official microsoft site, and it is safe. Any site that you go to download stuff, it will automatically try to download, to try to make it easier for the user.

it's a microsoft site it's safe, but don't click a link from a email or anything, type in the site manually

yes, its safe, its the download page of microsoft.com. A safer way to update is to run windows update, and then you dont have to go to an internet site.

If its the Microsoft site (which it is) than its safe.
P.S. Don't get get any spyware services from something called XP. Its a virus. And you can't get it off.

if you click start -all progs, theres a link to ms update at the top of the list.
