Advertised price is for both box spring and mattress?
So I am a little confused on the descriptions online for mattresses. The advertised prices on say target, sears, etc....do they include just the mattress or both mattress and box spring. I don't see any box springs being sold separately so am I right assuming they sell these as a set?

~~They are usually sold together, but not always. Some people just want the mattress and their box springs are still in good shape. So always make sure it includes both. I think by the time box springs are shot, the mattress would be also.~~

That would be the normal practice. But watch out for someone who doesn't. So make sure it includes the box springs. You can buy just the mattress.

They are usually sold as a set.
Some stores will allow you to purchase the mattress only, but it generally voids any manufacturer's warranty the mattress has.

You need to read the ad closely. Some ad's have an asterisk next to the price and below the ad, in small print, it say's "each piece".
