Question for religious extremists (Christian/Agnostic/Atheist)?

I see too many problems with the questions being asked on this stupid site. Why are there so many stupid generalities being thrown around? I don't fit into 95% of the stereotypes that are assigned to Christians. I don't even fit in with 95% of the Christians here.

I am NOT someone who answers all questions with "Read the Bible and have faith." I am NOT someone who comes to your door and demands that you repent or go to Hell. I am NOT a naive moron that follows everything the church tells me. I am NOT a person that "pretends" to know everything about science or your beliefs, and I am NOT someone who prejudges you.

So why is it so hard for some of you to ask or answer a simple question without shoving it down the opposing party's throat? Is there something SO REPULSIVE about the idea of God or no God that makes you unable to be sensitive enough to another human being about sharing your opinion in a kind and unbiased manner?

Update:

How can we know the difference between an honest asker and a rhetorical asker?

-Exactly why we always need to be sincere.

Because people can't mind their own damn business.

-This forum is to DISCUSS OTHER PEOPLE'S BUSINESS.

why are you biased against the thousands of other gods known to man?

-I believe in God. I'm not telling everyone else they're wrong. I'm saying I believe they're wrong. That allows them their point of view, including their right to believe I'm wrong.

So far, I've been insulted by at least 4 different users and it hasn't even been 10 minutes. This is why people can't get the answers they deserve on these forums.

What did I say that was so worth the crap that I'm getting?

Agreed. I am agnostic and I think only the people who are extreme enough to put rude things about other religions or religion in general are those who are too close minded to make any conversation about the subject at all.

I once asked a question about what came to mind when you hear the word "Christianity". The answers I got were astonishing. It seems a lot of people have been exposed, or only heard about, many false doctrines and had been exposed to negative experiences. That could explain a lot of the generalizations. People are speaking from their perception or experiences. That's why the Truth about Christ and Christianity needs to be brought out and Christian virtues need to be exercised. Generalizing in return only fuels the confusion.

I'll answer sincerely IF the question is asked sincerely. Unfortunately, most of the questions here from Christians are the same old loaded questions that have been asked thousands of times before.

And as for people who address questions to "Christians only", they should go to an all-Christian forum if that's what they want. Yahoo Groups ALONE has over 100,000 Christian mailing lists.

Whenever I try to address the 972,382 Christians who believe somethings I am specifically talking about, it takes to long.

As adults, I think we all know we aren't addressing 100% of the people in a given group. We are using generalities and really trying to address the person we are answering the question of.

Then perhaps you can try shedding insults like a duck with water off of it's back.

Hoorah for you, for being so much better than the rest of us imps.

Edit the reason you are getting a hard time off me because a)this is a straight down the line rant and b)you say you are not acting out a stereotype when this question proves you are and c) you are stereotyping us.

you may have told us what you're NOT, but we don't know what you ARE.

the reason that people use generalizations is because it would be impossible to answer questions without being general because the answerer doesn't know the person asking the question or the other people answering the question....so how am i suppposed to know individually what you are like??...

i am not here to force anyone into submission. i do follow the word of God to the best of my ability. but if someone asks a question about God...i will answer with His word. just like if someone asks a question about law, i will answer back with the law. then again, i am not here to please anyone. i just answer to the best of my ability and i do it out of love and kindness. the way God told me to be.

    Sorry about that.

Do you think I'm going to Hell for not believing in Jesus?
