My son is austistic and was recently kicked out of his play group...?
We were kicked out because we couldn't attend enough per monthly activities, but my son is in several interventional services (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and developmental intervention) that take up most of his time. To me this sounds like a direct violation of the Americans with Disibilities Act of 1990, what do you think?

That seems completely unfair. The people in charge of the playgroup should acknowledge the fact that one of the common characteristics of autism is that individuals have a harder time making friends and social connections.

Sounds like you could fight it with a good atty.; however, you did break the rules of not attending enough activities. It's hard to build rapport b/t kids if the kids don't attend on a consistent basis. I would simply try to find another group. If you fight it, from here on out you'll be "THAT woman". Ya know? You want to be comfortable, and esp you want that for your child.

It depends on if you signed an agreement to attend activities when you joined the group and if they are a private or public group.
