Does the do, re, mi......of music and the violet, indigo, blue...... of a rainbow anything in common?

Do re mi is sort of like the ranibow because you have the same number of steaps and then also the rainbow is really colorful just like the Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do Ti La So Fa Mi Re Do. blue, green, yellow, purple, orange, pink, red, gold, red, pink, purpl, yellow, green, blue

No because do, re, and mi are the first notes in the scale.
Violet indigo and blue are the last colors of a rainbow.

Hmmm. Do, re, mi... Ascend in audio frequency. Violet, indigo, blue descend in wavelength (visual frequency). I guess that they both represent changes in frequency.
