Will we ever have a peaceful world?

Where there's little to no war, violence, and there's love and peace in its place. People also would respect each other's opinions and differences without engaging in any kind of conflict.

Those people who work, save for retirement, and live in peaceful, natural areas have a better opportunity.

“Genuine “world peace”–meaning effective consensus regarding shared sacrifices as well as voluntary cooperation–is theoretically possible. But “world peace” imposed by a dominant power assisted by a few partners is unlikely because global power is becoming increasingly diversified and contentious.

There never has been a peaceful world. Human nature prevents it.

(Added.. some ANONYMOUS answer-er writes that "world peace"... is

unlikely because world power is becoming diversified and contentious.

Sounds to me this anonymous answer-er likely WANTS "world peace"

to fail because "world power" so called is used in all sorts of different

ways for DIFFERENT CULTURES AND DIFFERENT PEOPLE'S

Expectations. And it's highly unlikely that such an environment-of-

expectation can really change without some sort Of "Agreed peace",

..that is some locally influential Social-environment in which people

can see that Working TOGETHER IS BETTER THAN working alone,

and for REASONED benefits in that area so to speak.

So just because something (unlikely) is becoming "diversified.."

and contentious and unreasonable is no explanatory hope or reason

WHY Any One should "give up on world peace". Now or in the Future).

Yes certainly there can be and it may be said "will be a peaceful world"

If only we, including commentators here look hard and steadfastly enough.

Between past war there has been enough peace and peaceful differences

without conflicts leading to war. Just this we can believe shows that the

nay-sayers are wrong not just in their predictions but in their own limited

    optimism.

And starting with environmental change -something upon which there has

been a lamentable and sad lack of discussion here in what is and should

be the Enlightened sphere called "Philosophy" - the change now from a

static heads-in-the-sand position of many to a much more realistic emergency

type position, can galvanise more and more commentator Philosophers

to change their stance from one of doom-and-gloom to one of active optimism,

and so ENGAGING in a more peace-seeking future environment... one

that needs ACTIVE engagement and an Active decision making to problem

solve one of the greatest problems facing us all.

And in such activism they can be sure of two things, one that they will have

sided on the right side of humanity in actively pursuing a better world

and second they can be much more likely that such good active help

may be a catalyst for an even greater, less conflicted and divided world

    that there exists now.

A big thing we should know... but as we know that this environment here

and now has changed and evolved into the free peaceable world that

we know as our existing environment - with all it's faults and upheavals

showing the results of just local conflicts - but an environment where

each of us still knows that we are a real part of the intricate chain that

has at least not been FULLY utilised in the active peaceful change

to a new and better one.

And so this becomes not JUST A Challenge to people here on Yahoo but

a (peaceable) CHALLENGE TO Others... others who WANT and

covert peace as much as you and I want too.

Even I hope a challenge which may be TAKEN UP in other areas like

"Reddit" and "Quora" even IF IT HASN'T been done so.

no, and if it does, it will be an extremely controlled world, so they want to decrease the world population, it is easier to control millions than billions.
