If there is a life after death, how is it like?

Update:

With reference to the comments by Craig J,I wish to submit respectfully that:

Firstly, I am a Indian and not a “brainwashed and dumb” American as guessed.

Secondly, as an Indian, I believe in life after death but do not criticize other’s belief as baseless. I believe that for every religion, the quest is to search for the truth…the truth which you need not believe in, but the truth you can understand as a Hindu Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, or anything else.

Thirdly, Reincarnation is often taught in Buddhism, may be that there is a difference in perception in holding that there is no permanent self that moves from life to life. However, there is no use in arguing with an arrogant and not so temperate Buddhist.

Fourthly, insults apart, one may go through American playwright Thornton Wilder’s drama OUR TOWN, which has inspired and mesmerized me and added much to my learning, faith and belief.

If it is there, it will be exactly what you want it to be. Your wish is your command. Look forward to it. It is like getting born, just as mysterious and wonder full

    Peace

There is a resurrection of the just and the unjust (Acts 24:15). This is the hope of ancient Judaism and the hope that is propagated by Christians. The gates of Hades will never conquer God's church. Obey Christ the Lord and follow his way. He is the resurrection and the life for those putting faith in him. Death is akin to a sleep. Christ can awaken us as he did with Lazarus (John 11:11-14).

You perceive death as something in ANOTHER time.

but time doesn't exist. You're already there.

You can realise it if you want, but like most americans, you're too brainwashed and dumb, I guess.

Insults aside, check out what scientists think of time!!

they call it a problem, cause lets face it it dont really exist.

    That's a big if.

But IFF there is life after death, it is likely much like this one. Reincarnation is the most likely theory (although still unlikely).

There's also he Doctrine of the Eternal Recurrence, which states that we are doomed to live our lives over and over again.

well, i had a dream once that was so vivid and real that to this day i still think of the afterlife as it:

you start out at the beginning of a path, depending on who you are and how u lived ur life, your path is different. if you were a good person, your path is easy, laid out clearly and smooth and walkable. if your led a bad life, full of sin, your path is tricky, treacherous and rough. either way, you begin walking. and you walk. all of afterlife is just a journey. the point of the journey is to find your calling. others don't, and that's okay because if they don't, it means they're not ready and so they wouldn't want to find it anyways. but in my dream, i did find it. it was my grandmother, whom i had missed for years when she had died. she took my hand and said it was time for me to go on. then i woke up.

Unless you're expecting an answer from a corpse or a ghost you'll never get a real and right answer. Even if it's from people with "near-death" experiences, because it's all in their subconscious and provoked by all the stories they've heard before.

So we'll all just have to wait and see. (Although I do believe in life after death and judgment day) .

No there is not. Death is the end for plants and animals including humans.
