Wierd chest pain?

For past 2 days I've been having this wierd feeling in my chest when I apply pressure to it in the center. It also happens if I move both my shoulders as far forward as possible without moving any other part of my body.. it puts pressure right in the center of the chest. And also if I do pushups I can feel it sometimes. It's not painful, but it doesn't feel right either.

It doesn't happen any other time except in these kind of situations where pressure is applied by force. Any idea on whats wrong?

I don't know much about this kind of thing, but i do know that chest pain isn't really something you should play around with. It might not need a visit to the ER but I would make a priority appt. with your Dr. ASAP.

The pain you've described seems to be connected to your Xyphoid process - that connecting strip down the center of your chest where the attached ribs link at the front. It is quite possible that you've either strained the ligaments there or perhaps have even suffered a hairline fracture - something whch can happen through over-exertion or even a hard impact.

If you continue to feel pain, I'd suggest seeing a doctor.

your esophagus is most likely inflamed by acid from the liver or stomach. its probably from reverse Gastroesophageal Gerd (which is heartburn) and this might result in Esophageal Cancer.

I would recommend consulting your doctor right away about this problem.
