brembo caliper paint method?

I am in the process of getting my brembo sti calipers repainted. I do NOT want to powdercoat it. This is because the brembo gold color probably cant be color matched very easily.

So this is what I am thinking of doing and I want to see what other people think. Especially people who have race experience with brakes.

I want to strip down the paint first of course. Then prep it for paint. I want to first spray the calipers with a few coats of some kind of high temp paint. Maybe some kind of header or exhaust heat resistant paint. Then spray an automotive paint over it and then clear coat it.

Do you guys think the base heat resistant paint will protect that automotive paint? Most heat resistant paint is ceramic based. And does anyone brembo's method and process when painting thier brakes. What materials do they use?

I don't know what method Brembo uses, but I would stay away from the clear coat---it does not handle that type of temp well---tends to turn cloudy. If you think outside the box, try a different color and you a stove paint. I did mine in silverblue with a paint called "theromolox ?

If all you pick to do is to paint the backing plate to the pads, on the initiating that could no longer very seen. 2d, you will probably could be conscious extreme temp paint for steel. Tape off the pad itself besides as you're able to with a tape which could desire to no longer bypass away the adhesive interior the back of so as that the pads are no longer any extra contaminated.
