Wifi Adapter Not Working?
I have the tp link AV600 power line starter kit, and they have been working great for almost the past year. Today they just stopped working and it says they’re connected to my router but my PC has no internet. I’ve tried everything, resetting them, unplugging them and my router, and other things and my computer just won’t connect. Anyone have any ideas? I’m desperate!!

How cost effective and time-efficient would it be for a family to have a multi-seat computer such as Windows MultiPoint Server at home so that all users can use the computer at the same time instead of each taking turns or having their own PC's?
If a five-person family had Windows Server 2016 Standard on a PowerEdge T130 at home, a MultiPoint station for each family member except maybe the father who could log on locally or from a laptop, and a client access license for each family member, what would the total cost be? Let's say all the MultiPoint stations are USB-zero-client-connected stations.

Anyone a network engineer, network architect, knowledgeable in building networks? I am very stumped on creating a network in Cisco Packet Tracer. I have my sites communicating internally, however, I can't seem to get the data to communicate between sites. I've spent about 20+hrs trying to get this figured out already so here I am.

I’ve searched the vast edge of cyberspace and even the mysterious charter web looking for the place beautiful 🤩 girls hang out online.
I tried a hidden search engine called grep.geek which can only be accesssed by using special open nic dns servers and requires a closed shell system.
I tried a hidden site called 192.Chan which didn’t have many pretty girls posting there.
Where online to beautiful 🤩 girls hang out? Where online do they find fat acne ridden gamer boys attractive?

Why is the images and videos on my phone showing me the girls or women's image as a guy structure? It automatically turnes it in to a guy arm a guy legs and guy chest and face almost more than 80 percent guys structure. On all search of the internet, even personal friends that I know appear as that. when I am not using the phone and when I talk to another girl on other phone and after I am done talking to that person as soon as I turn youtube or fb or I am on the internet, it aoutomtically mimics that person by mixing that person I talk to with a man structure and make it apear somewhere as soon as I start using the internet without my will. this has been hapning for years and it's like torturing. how is this hapning, by who, why? all the image of women or girls that i know in the past appears as a half guy and half girl. guy arms and guy face structure which made it hard for me to communicate with people. 100 percent guys arm legs and body structure the remaining percent appears as girl. obviously noticeable to me but not sure if It is also noticeable for the people that I am chating or talking to. why is some sort of software doing this without the person consent? who is using this for Manipulative purpose and what is it
2 weeks agoCan I add my MyBookLive WD cloud storage directly to my laptop?
I have the adapter cable for ethernet-to-USB. My new laptop...Lenovo POS --IMO either can't or won't open my storage even on the same network. Thought MAYBE a direct hook up would help. So far, no joy.

2 weeks agoWhy do some sites dislike VPN connections?
From my experience with using a secure connection with a VPN service such as express vpn and nord vpn, I noticed that some sites that I use really dislike the VPN connection and make it difficult for me in many ways. One site I like to use moderately shows up a message that my ip address has been banned so I need to delete the cookies of that site and login again with another ip address. I sometimes get issues with streaming too which is annoying!

I know about the deep web and the dark web with stuff like tor! I also heard of an even more mysterious place called the “charter web”
Supposedly the charter web requires a closed shell system which I assume is an alternate network settings configuration to access.
Apparently there is an alternate DNS root for domains ending in .bbs .chan .gopher .fur .o .libre .cyb .neo .oz .geek etc
Supposedly there is a charter web search engine called grep.geek and some extreme image boards like 96.Chan 192.Chan and 4096.Chan and other 4 Chan and 8 Chan like websites but only uncensored and full of smut and vitriolic commentary about extremism.
Supposedly there are also bulletin board systems that can only be accessed via a 56k modem and DOS and are protected behind riddle games and in there is a secret file sharing system linked via something called Fido net.
Supposedly some strange site about furries called kinggoon.fur
And supposedly some sort of secret hacker social network that operates only over lan networks and VPNs and such and syncs data secretly between devices . Supposedly used to share exploits between hackers. The network is not searchable and you can only discover those on the network you know about and have connected with.
What parts of this rumored charter web exist?

I heard there is a part of the net that requires a “closed shell system” or CSS to access.
I heard rumors of bulletin board systems that are accessed via old dial up modems which connect to each other via modem lines and such. So called BBS networks are said to exist as some sort of “closed shell system”
I also heard of secret VPNs that link hacker spaces and secret websites used by hackers and such that are used by both black hat and white hat hackers
I also heard about some sort of “secret hacker social network” that is not searchable and only accessible via a closed shell network and special hack software. Access is supposedly only by invite and used by hackers to share info about exploits and to upload exe files and Vbs scripts and Js and Python files like most people upload and post pics.
These hacker sites only connect via LANs, VPNs Bluetooth, and other channels and never become accessible to the public?
Does this so called charter web exist? What parts of the whole charter web I describes are real? What is a myth? Please explain?

1 Answer3 weeks agoCreating/Authenticating openLDAP on Ubuntu VM, please help!?
I've created an openLDAP server (I think.) I can use other users to login to the phpldapadmin website and when i do an "ldapsearch -x" on the terminal of my machine, the users show up. However, I cannot actually use them to login to the machine. Yes, I am using the full dn as usernames.
Also, I want others to be able to access this on their VM devices, but was not sure what to put for the URI. Do I need to put the IP in place of local host? Do I still put a port number? What would the exact format for that be? I've watched pretty much every video on youtube from the last 2 years regarding creating and authenticating on Ubuntu. I am confused in general about the authentication process, and wondering if I made mistakes. Any help is appreciated.

When is the US government going to spend money like the South Korean government and updated the old broadband internet to gigabit internet speeds? There is only three or so broadband ISP companies in the US and they are not going to spend millions of dollars updating the internet to gigabit internet speeds. When is the US government going to spend the money so they can update to gigabit internet speeds?
