Goodbye Israel Section!?
As I'm sure y'all are all aware, Yahoo! claims to go "read-only" on 4/20/21 EST. That's only 2.5 hours from the time of this post. This actually may be the last post here on the Yahoo! Answers Israel section, and I thought I'd take some time to say goodbye.
I started here in 2009, as a bored student who just wanted to answer some question one day. I don't remember the exact nature of the question, but all I do remember is that it was here in the Israel section. Since then, I've answered thousands of questions over two accounts and earned "top contributor" status in many categories, losing my first one but maintaining this current one for nine years. I've had fun, but unfortunately Y!A has just slowed down and become way too buggy and trolly, so I can't say that this news was all that surprising.
I'm not sure how many of you will see this, since there is little time. I'm also not sure if any of y'all will be the people I've interacted with over the years, since as this site has declined we've seen many of the consistent contributors disappear. I appreciate most of you (including some of the very pro-Palestinian ones) and I wish everyone the best.

1 Answer1 month agoIs the Cohen family very arrogant or I had a bad impression about them? ?
The bnot Cohen I met were very arrogant. I am a Halevi, a Sephardic Levite. And I get very happy when I see a Cohen girl, our ancestors worked in the Temple together, I feel connection with them. But they dont feel the same back. They ignore me and feel they are much better than even the Levites who share the same tribe. Maybe I met the ones who are snobbish. So it is better to join our Prophet Samuel family: The Segal, Horowitz etc. And I already met Ashkenazi and Sephardic Cohens; both the same arrogance. They make the Levites feel like trash, useless. But we are important to God.
2 Answers2 months agoJewish people how do you feel about Israels large Arab minority?
Arabs make up 20% of Israels national population and 35% of the population under age 18.
they represent a major challenge to the Jewish state due to their perceived demographic threat.
how should israel deal with the high birth rate among this different ethnic group?
5 Answers2 months agoWhy isn't Israel developing its southern region? ?
The entire south part of Israel is almost completely empty. The entire population is cramped in the North, in particular Northwest and Northeast. I understand that the south is semi-desert, but so what? It can still be developed with infrastructure and housing. The climate is descent too, not too hot. They can also use forestry technology to plant trees there like China is doing with its Gobi desert. They have to much land they aren't using. It's not ideal, but it can be developed into a great region.
3 Answers2 months agoWhy would a Jew blame Christianity for the Holocaust?
Anyone who has studied this aspect of history will know that Adolf Hitler was not a Christian and that even if he was a Christian, the systematic extermination of six million Jews was not committed in the name of Christianity but Aryanism.
