I got a letter in the mail, from amex saying that I was pre-aproved for a blue cash card. i already have one, under my mom right now, and my credit is great. They emailed me confirming that they recieved my application. I was wondering, does anyone one know how long before i have the actual card in my hand? This includes the approval time. Thanks! I need it within the next two weeks, don't know if that's humanly possible!

Okay, so I'm in my early 20s, perfectly normal life, I have a bf, I've been dating him for 2+ years, I'm very happy. Despite all this, I tend to obsess over celebrity guys. Right now it's a tennis star. I mean, I watch his matches, you certainly won't see me fly out to different corners of the world to watch him play and try to get autographs pics etc. I DO dream about these things. Which creeps me out, because if it was someone else that told me this, I would think what a lifeless loser! I don't think I'd ever do them! The sad thing is the internet doesn't help. With constant information that lets you know what these guys are up to 24/7 and tells you all about their private life, it makes it even worse for me. This is common with me, and the phase doesn't last very long, before you know it there is someone else! I basically want to know, what I can do to stop letting it get to me. I mean, most guys can like a famous chick but not be all stalkerish about it. Why is it that women can't control themselves?? ANY tips will help :) Stupid comments won't!

I have a Dell Dimension E510. It's rather old, bought in 2005-2006. Anyway, on a whim I decided to upgrade it to windows 7 from XP a VERY bad idea. It has made the computer rather slow and a lot less efficient. Anyway, I did not do this via a CD but I had a special deal so I downloaded it from the Microsoft website. I need to get back XP but don't know how. I do have a Windows.old folder and it is smaller in size than the amount of free space I have on C. Microsoft's website shows you how to restore with a CD but not if you just downloaded it. It is totally legit btw!! No pirated version. Does anyone know how i can do this?? Thank you!

I have been using this for about 2 weeks, I absolutely LOVE it. I was skeptical because I have combination skin prone to breakouts. This really makes my skin look flawless, I have been getting SO many compliments for my skin! I want to know how it has worked out for you if you have tried it. I want to buy a MAC foundation, but it's so expensive, and I dunno if it's even worth it!

I use zonealarm and I received notice that e.exe wants to access the inet. i said no, but I tried to research what it is, but it doesn't say whether it is definitely a virus or not. I searched it on my compute and it's located in the following folder C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch

The exact file name is E.EXE-3004153A.pf

Please tell me if I should be worried. ZA doesn't pick it up while scanning.

Okay I'm a 23 year old girl who is trying to lose weight, and I'm just hooked on sweets, cakes, donuts, chocolate, cookies, muffins! Just about anything that will get me fatter. I heard it's due to blood sugar variations, so I tried the 9 meals a day thing, and I'm still mighty hungry for them. I can't avoid being around them, when I'm out I tell my bf to not lemme have em, but with my puppydog faces he breaks sumtimes. It's so damn hard, I stay off of em for 2 days and then it's back again. What do I do?

Then we check for n+1

So I did,

(1+x)^(n+1) >= 1+(x(n+1))

now what?

1) prove that if m is even m+1 is odd

2) prove that if n is irrational then n^2 is rational

3) prove that if n is prime then n+7 is larger than one and not prime

I have a really nice picture it's like regular printer paper size and in a pretty frame(my mom put it there) well now it's been replaced by other pictures in the family room so do you think it would be vain if I put it in my room? not on a wall just maybe desk or bed stand?

Ok, so I am not perfect, and I don't know everything, despite the fact that I know that, I find it VERY hard to ask for help. Especially from those close to me. My very close friends, my boyfriend, and at times even my mom! I feel inferior, I mean I don't know how to explain it, except that my pride feels hurt. It's so stupid, since when my friends/bf/mom ask me for help, I don't think any less of them, yet somehow I fell less of myself when I ask for help. This is especially a problem in my relationship, because my bf is better than me in a lot of ways and I better than him in others, but I always feel insecure asking him to help me, instead I just get angry at him. I feel immature and stupid for behaving that way, but I don't know how to get around it.

I'm 22 getting my MA in economics

Okay so I'm a college student, I started my master's in economics this semester, the problem is my performance in my earlier classes is bogging me down.I can't seem to move ahead, because all I think about is how awful I did in my earlier classes. I'm taking calculus 3 right now, and I did OK in calc 1 and 2 (B's) but I got those because my professors were easy and I didn't study much, also it was 4 years ago that I took my last math class. I don't remember much and it's so scary. My biggest hurdle however is that my bf took calc 1 and 2 in the last two semesters and he's taking it with me. He worked very hard and he knows his stuff. Studying with him makes me feel like crap, studying calculus makes me feel like crap. I have the same problem in 2 or 3 other classes and I don't know how to deal with it. If I can't get over this then I don't think I can move on. I am not used to giving myself credit for things, I don't know I'm just lost.

Recently I broke up with my bf of 2.5 years. Apparently he hadnt found me sexy for 2 of those years! He said I needed to dress more sexy. sexy = short shorts short skirts etc. I wear it for him when we're home but he wanted me to wear it outside.I wear w/e is in style, tanks, tees, shorts & skirts (just not micro length). He told me my closet was trash. Then he told me my personality isn't sexy either. He told me I was boring, around me he felt like he was 40. Then I broke up with him and he wanted to be friends. It's been 3 weeks I avoid him but when we do talk he is rude, but last week he stayed with me all day to help me study for my exam. Then a few days ago he asked me to interpret his convo with some other girl! WTF? He said I'm askin u b/c ur a girl! I finally told him i wasn't over him & he looked pleased. When we were dating he treated me like a queen was always there 4 me. I dunno what's going on. What does his behaviour mean? did he ever luv me? He's ready to date so soon...

Most guys I spoke to think they are hideous, other think they are a turn off. My friend loves them, but her guy always tells he they are ugly.

I dress normally. I am a lil conservative. I wear figure hugging jeans, not super tight though. I also wear cute tops, nothing low cut. They make me uncomfy. I'd wear it at home but not outside I don't wear short shorts and skirts. I'm in college and so I have days when I've been up studying and don't dress up. But he told me that he just doesn't think i'm sexy, when he walks around with me he feels like he's 40. Guys think I'm cute the kind they'd take home to their mom. He said why can't you be the hot girl I could take home to my mom?

He wants me to wear shorts and skirts and body hugging shirts, that show off my waist heels not sneakers, he tells me to try and wear what he likes.

It hurts so much but I want to make him happy, should I change for him?

Ok I'm trying to solve a 2x2 matrix for it's eigenvalue. and the root I'm working is complex. This question is actually geared more toward complex numbers. In an example while creating my eigen basis I found myself with these two complex system of equations:

(2-2i)x -2 y = 0

4x - (2+2i)y = 0

So now the solution to this system of equations is :

(1-i)x - y =0

Pleaseee tell me why this is the solution! Like exactly what the reasoning is. I think it has to do with properties of complex numbers. Please help pleaseeee!

I recenty spoke to a dentist or two and a friend of mine, about this procedure where under anesthesia they loosen ur gums and realign your teeth to straighten them. And then after that for a long period(8 years or so) of time you need to wear retainers to keep them from moving back. Can someone give me the name of this procedure or the details. I've driven myself crazy loking on Google. thanks!
