  • Glofish lost color and is swimming sideways?

I've had the glofish since February. I bought her (him?) with another glofish and a golden white cloud mountain minnow. In March, I moved them to a 12 gallon tank and added 1 more white cloud. The other glofish is very healthy with a bright yellow color and the other fish are healthy as well. This glofish lost color over time and is now pure white. When I got her she was not uniformly one color like the other glofish. Her stomach was white and she had some stripes. She is the smallest fish, but is well proportioned. She didn't usually school with the other fish and would stay on one side near the bottom. 2 days ago I moved her to the QT tank in case it might have been stress-she also semed to be swimming slower and when she stopped swimming it looked like she was being drawn to the filter, then she would swim again. I was also concerned because it was very easy to catch her in the net. After being in the QT, she seemed to get a very small amount of color back, but didn't seem to eat. Last night, she began swimming erratically and turned on her side while swimming. I did a big water change with treated water (same temp) and she seemed to perk up momentarily. I tried a pea, but she didn't eat that either. I have some decorations in the QT, and now I don't see her at all. I didn't want to lift up all the decorations and cause more stress, so I left her alone. Should I try aquarium salt? Epsom salt? Is there anything else I can do?

  • Lynksis router needs reset at least 1x a day with cable modem?

I set up this router with a cable modem. It will work for a few hours then I can't get on the internet. The computer gives the cannot connect to internet error message, but if you look at the WIFI signal strength, it still reads high. If I reset the router, I can get back on the net. Is is possible that the cable modem is the problem (i.e. the modem drops out and might come back in a different place so that when I reset the modem it "finds" the signal?) Also, I tried to edit the connection value (time router stays connected, not sure of the correct wording) to the highest level, but it still drops out. Please help! Thank you!!

  • High white blood cell count after knee replacement surgery?

High WBC in synovial fluid of knee while on antibiotics for staph infection after surgery. No infective agent found. Now on IV antibiotics- WBC (blood test) now normal (<7). Does this mean that WBC in the knee must also be normal or will they need do another knee stick to confirm? After 6 wks of IV antibiotics, should the infection clear? Was there really an infection to begin with if they couldn't find it?

  • For those who have the Magnavox 160GB DVD Recorder with Digital Tuner?

I am unable to upload any DVDs to the HDD. When I try, the dubbing menu is greyed out. I have tried many different DVDs, including ones that I burned on other DVD recorders (I made sure they were finalized). My friend is having the same problem. I called tech supp and they told me that all these DVDs must have copy guard on them (even the ones I burned w/ local TV shows? I doubt it!~)

I am able to play the DVDs on this machine and can upload to the HDD if I use a different player and patch into the Magnavox. Help!!!

  • TMJ or TMD and dental care...couldn't get xrays...?

I have had TMJ for a few years. My dentist recently changed to a new digital type of xray that uses a frame to hold the device in your mouth. The last time I was barely able to open my mouth to allow the xray to sit properly. This time the dental hygienist pushed on my jaw and the jaw spasmed to badly that I gagged and was unable to get xrays. Is there a smaller digital xray I could ask for or maybe a smaller adaptor? I also have to have 1 cavity and another cavity (or crown) in the next few weeks. I was told the minimum amount of time would be 90 min for the cavity (difficult to get to). I'm really dreading my next visit. Is there anything I can do to have a less traumatic experience next time? Medication? Bite block? Help!

  • Medicaid coverage for massage?

Will medicaid cover massages by a licensed massage therapist (not a physical therapist) for spastic paralysis? Where can I find a list of medicaid approved treatments?

  • Prescription "softgel" medicine for a sore throat?

I had these a few years ago and can't remember the name. They were little clear softgels. Once you swallowed them, your throat would go numb...GREAT for sore throats. If you chewed them, supposedly your mouth would go numb. Thanks!

  • What movie included a scene where the press ran to a phone booth and it fell over?

I think it was a courtroom scene and the press was sitting on the benches when they heard some incredible news, all got up and ran to the bank of phone booths, causing them to fall over.
