  • SM64 modding help?

I know how to do custom levels and music as well as the water thing but how do you do:

custom characters, like in a Sonic mod with complete Sonic voices or Last Impact where there were creative enemies such as a giant flying Koopa Troopa and a spider monster.  I do custom-importer option but when I emulate the mod the custom character or whatever is invisible.

Let's say I want to turn Mario into Harry Potter and turn Peach into Mcgonnagal then make eels and sharks completely hostile and as well as having Dorrie stick her head downwards the player eating him.  That I don't know how to do.  Anybody else know how?

  • CGI animation killed Flash animation, live action is next?

    And that sucks.

This site is shutting down in a month so....

I mean its ok to use cgi in a Star Wars movie but not in a based on true story movie/tv show but there are more reboots and whatever being made as cgi rather than real life, for examples we've had:

Jurassic World series, the movies are more realistic

Mario one in the works, Bob Hoskins's version looks realer

Harry Potter one in the works, some people want that to be cgi, then Danny Radcliffe would beat that reboot

Never Ending Story one in the works, really?

Addams Family, Chris Lloyd version is realer.

And even a TMNT reboot that is going to be cgi, rather than live action?  Look back to 2007 where the fourth original Turtle movie got so much hate for being cgi and not having real people so they went back to being live action with Mike Bay.  I heard that flash animation is actually making a comeback but that's just a rumor because live action is dying, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Pinnochio, The Hunchback, Lilo And Stitch, Snow White and recently Hercules are like the last times Disney could reboot a classic live action.  Who knows how much longer Marvel will last before succumbing to cgi animation like everything else lately?  I mean Spiderman Into The Spiderverse although amazing but doesn't live up to Tom Holland Spideys.  I was hoping shows like Rick and Morty, Rise of the TMNT and Llama Llama would stop the 100% cgi craze from destroying live action but I was highly dissapointed.

  • Are there certain animals outside of their natural habitats as depicted in things?

Like in the wilds, not zoos but….

Are there living wolves in Africa because in Lambert The Sheepish Lion there was one.  If there were any wolves in Africa then we would see some in The Lion King wouldn’t we?

Are there horses in Africa not counting zebras?  In one Timon and Pumbaa episode a horse appears in the jungle and Pumbaa rides the horse to get over a fence saying Beware Of Tiger, I don’t think there are tigers in Africa either.

Are there elephants in Australia?  Never saw one there but in a Super Mario Bros Super Show episode that took place in an Australian jungle you heard trumpeting.

Are/were there kangaroos in Africa besides the springhare?

    Are/were there giraffes in Australia?

    Are/were there antelopes in Australia?

    Are/were there goannas in Africa?

    Are/were there okapis in Australia?

    Are/were there ibexes in Australia?

    Are/were there ostriches in Australia?

    Are/were there zebras in Australia?

Are/were there monkeys in Australia?  In The Croods there are.

Are there lions in Australia?  In the dinosaur age there were, they looked like a mix of a tiger/gorilla.  I know America used to have African lions but what about in Australia, are/were there?  Some video games having a level set there and you can hear faint lion roars in background.

I know Crocodiles are native to Africa but theyre in Australia too but how?  If both animal kingdoms have crocs then there must be/must've been other African mammals in Australia and Australian animals in Africa.

  • Anyone else sick of horror-everything over the last 11 years?  Whether it be movies, tv shows, books or evn video games, is positivity dead?

    Sorry it’s a long one.

I remember before 2010 when it didn’t seem like horror was a popular genre at all, even epic horror movies like Jeepers Creepers, Underworld, Van Helsing, Dawn Of The Dead or even Twilight didn’t start a horror craze, even World At War’s zombie mode or Plants Vs Zombies didn’t either.  I can only assume it all started with The Crazies or TWD, it had to be either one.  I still miss my 2000s childhood over the 2010s for that very reason.  They say genres become popular at different times:

    1950s=Based on true story epics

    60s=musicals and spies

70s=mystery, also space shooter games, rise of post apocalypse

    80s=comedy and platformers

90s=secret agents and martial artists, also fighting games

2000s=sci fi and fps’s, the early 2Ks however had a slight revival in comedy but the rest of the 2Ks were about sci fi, people were positive back then

10s=horror, earliest horror craze and that was awful!

20s=still horror, people have generally been negative for 11 years

The thing that gets me pretty good is that 99% of the things people talk about these days are horror movies, tv and video games that seem to all blend together.  There is even an Underworld remake, Twilight prequel and another Howling remake the latter announced at Netflix, that and other scary 1980s movies have all been remade already!  Why do it again!?  I mean don’t do any more horror Period!

  • Why doesn't the general public label Mexicans as Spanish like they do label Australians as British/English?

All over the net, Australian people/culture and whatever is strictly considered British/English, what makes them either one, their key language?  If Aussies really are English because it's their language, then Mexicans are supposed to be Spaniards, right?  Youtube Mexican opera and whatever and you'll see a lot of Spanish.  Youtube Australian pop you'll see a lot of British.  But it's wrong and racist to say someone is something by their language like Australians=English people and Mexicans=Spanish people the latter I have never seen happen I don't think.  So lets stop saying Taco Bell, sumbreros, cracking the pinata, bullfighting, donkey breeding, etc. are Mexican things and start saying they're Spanish things.  But Aussies being English and Mexicans being Spanish is not true, since British is the term for Aussies then that makes Mexicans Spanish and Ukrainians Russian, again not right.  What would that make Greenlandic people, Danish?

  • Superhero movies are not superhero movies anymore, why is that?

Power Rangers 3, Avengers Endgame, X-Men Dark Phoenix and now Wonder Woman 1980s.  They are just getting much longer and more boring, WW80s could have been better without all that talking and focus on being super and fighting bad guys which there is not much of, it reminds me of Power Rangers 3 which really makes me sad.  Looking back to 2012 when The Avengers was total action packed, Spider-Man Far From Home in 2019 was total action packed too, what happened to Real superhero movies like that?  All the new ones are just boring and some are pointless horror movies like The Joker and The New Mutants and the upcoming Morbius The Vampire which are just even more Hellboys and Underworlds.  I remember 2005 when Batman Begins got so much hate for Batman not being super very much in that one, same with Superman Returns the following year but since when did superhero movies become more like 2 1/2 hour long boring movies with all talking no action, like they try too hard to make them so long and boring instead of a 2 hour long action pack?  I don't remember this being a thing 21 years ago.  I'm sure they only made Superman Returns for money but that didn't seem like a thing in the 2000s, this really makes me miss Mighty Morphen Power Rangers.

  • Why are hoodies and undercuts so popular with young people since the last 10 years?  Bring back leather jackets?

Honestly I think I must have been the only person aged 15-30 this year who would wear a leather jacket or windbreaker or whatever.  I know hoodies are nothing new they were invented in the 1930s but it was only 2011 when they started wearing them, same with undercuts so why have they become so popular and in fashion?

This has been a craze since 2011 just like the 'shaved bottoms hair on top' rogue-man haircut, what men don't have undercuts?  Not me.

The hoodie is the torso of not only random male Americans but of gamers, of zombies, of Bieber dates both promising and not, of werewolves, of cool teens(in a bad way not a good way), of vampires, of Londoners, of babies, of little kids, of pirates, of cartoon characters, of Melbourne citizens, of aliens, of superheroes, of updated versions of 1980s/90s characters and whatsoevers!  It's basic, it's been the defacto for a decade, from 2011-2021, almost.

But there is good news:There is another torso.  One that dominated the tenure of the Australian band AC DC, then disappeared into the cultural abyss when British band One Direction reached maturity.  In other words, it's precisely time for its return.

I am referring, of course, to leather jackets.  Unlike hoody, which concentrates a hood and strings, leather jacket makes one look natural, formal and more attractive.

While hoodies make every person look like they escaped a dystopian world there are many formal things available right?

  • Why has nothing changed from the 2010s at all?

It's the same as last decade for examples:

Movies/Tv being horror in general, can't believe scifi made no comeback.

Video Games being super-serious in general, can't believe there are no silly ones.

Nostalgia revolving around 1980s when now it's still 80s, I can't believe they didn't even changed it to 1990s, guess that waits til 2030.  In 2010 there was no 1970s nostalgia like in 2009 right?  I mean it's like if nostalgia was still 1970s in the 10s.

Terrible fashion, it's all hoodies and rogueish haricuts, I might be the only one who would start wearing windbreakers or leather jackets.

I'm saying the 2020s are not going to be another 10s just like 1990 wasn't another 1980s also just like the 2000s were not another 1990s and also the early 2010s were not another 2000s much to my dismay, it has to be different sometime soon.  30 years ago there was no longer new wave or disco or color-boxes or keyguitars, it was a different stuff.

  • Why are video games and whatever so sexist?

This is the role for men and women in video games, the men are the hero and the women are the captured love interests.  It really bothers me to see the fact they have to mostly put the guys first while the women are second in command.  These are examples:

Kingdom Hearts-Sora is the one while Kiari is his love interest, it's time for her to be the hero.

Last Of Us-Joel and his bro are the ones while Sarah is Joel's daughter.

Star Fox-Fox Mccloud is the main character but Krystal, Amanda, Lucy and Katt are way more likeable characters than him but yet it's called Star Fox, it should be called Krystal.

Altered Beast-The werewolf is the hero while the princess is kidnapped by vampires

Call Of Duty-A man is always the main character and only the recent ones have women on his team, the men actually outnumber the women, very sexist!

In the early 2010s there was a rise in girl-heroes where they were more of a warrior and none of a captive, but recently they're going back to having the man saving the lady thing again!  Why!?  I'm a guy and I even did a TMNT crossover fan film where we see more female heroes than male ones including most X-Men being teen girls and Batman being a woman.  Also Tv and Movies are going back to sexism too starting with Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, Spidey Far From Home and especially horror/vampire movies/tv shows where women have to be saved by a heroic guy.  I'm saying guys are not always going to be the hero, women need heroisim too.

  • Reb With A Cause, how do you feel about Disney no longer being Disney anymore?

Anyhow since 2010, Disney remakes have been copying other stuff instead of being actually Disney, like for examples:

Alice In Wonderland-just another Harry Potter type of British dark fantasy film instead of a silly musical.

Tron Legacy-just another dystopian X-Men where it's all fatal fights and explosions, no singing or positivity.

Snow White And The Huntsman-just another Lord Of The Rings kind of dark fantasy war film, again no singing or silliness.

Malificent-horror remake of Sleeping Beauty where there's scary treemen and dragons and 1 point or 2 there's werewolves.  Not our kind of Sleeping Beauty.

Cinderella-just another Pride And Prejiduce kind of British drama instead of the Romanian musical fairytale it's supposed to be, they only sing once.

Jungle Book-just another Ghost And The Darkness, all peril and barely any singing at all.

Pete's Dragon-like an American version of Harry Potter instead of the musical it's supposed to be.

The Nutcracker And The Four Realms-just another LOTR.

Mulan-just another LOTR, not the Chinese musical.

I dunno about Dumbo, Pinnochio, Lady And The Tramp, the 101 Dalmations prequel or Wendy but Beauty And The Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King (I expected it to be better by adding dinosaurs, tribal people, kangaroos and giants but there were none of those) are their only correctly rebooted ones since they first rebooted their classics starting in 1985 with Alice In Wonderland(or did someone else remake it?).

  • Netflix Tv And Movie award event, WHY SO MANY HORROR MOVIES/TV!!!!!!?  Is sci fi or imagination dead?  I miss 1990-2007 movies!!!?

This has been a trend for 12 years now.  I remember before late 2008 horror wasn't much of a genre other than from 1975 with Jaws to 1981 with American Werewolf In London, 27 years later, horror became a clear genre/made a comeback when Twilight came out, then it got applauded for being "such a good horror movie that oddly changed vampires".  The new Witches reboot turned witches into devils/vampires, witches are not supposed to be devils or vampires but that's what they were in the book though.  I watch Power Rangers, Star Wars, James Bond, Harry Potter(not the last 2 movies, they're horror instead of dark fantasy that Harry is supposed to be), Batman, Hunger Games, Wizard Of Oz, Llama Llama, Frozen 2, Jumanji, The Simpsons, zombies, dinosaurs and anything sci fi over all the new stuff lately(because it's all horror)to enjoy myself.  Most horror stories seem to come from Europeans(ones who are British, Russian, French and Spanish)but also way too many American and Australian ones too.  It's OK to make a show or game or a movie that's just good fun with spaceships, robots, zombies, aliens, superheroes and of course furries.  Now that theaters opened again but all they show is that horror garbage, Disney and Marvel are rare to be shown there anymore, REAL movies/tv you have to have Netflix for.  This miserable horror trend is way overblown and I can't wait for it to end!  We need REAL variety!

  • How do you feel about Netflix ending cinema?  I feel sad and mad.?

    Here's the data:

    https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&so...

And that really sucks!  I know Netflix is not a new product since it was invented in 1997 but it was only nearly 3 years ago when movies and tv succumbed to it.  On the year 2010 all movies were going to theaters and tv shows were all on CBS, 2011 the same thing, 2012 the same thing, 2013 the same thing, 2014 the same thing, 2015 the same thing but 2016 was slowly changing to being this.  2 years ago even before Covid it was getting to where Netflix is destroyed cinema which makes money that Netflix doesent really.  For example would you like to see the upcoming Last Airbender reboot on the big screen and have big fun or be bored watching it on Netflix?  Now in 2020 that theaters opened up again, but all their showing there anymore are that horror trash, Disney movies and Marvel movies, nothing else!  In 2010 they showed everything.  I sure dont remember Netflix being this popular in 2010 at all.  Remember last year we loved seeing Pokemon on the big screen like in 1999?  Mewtwo Strikes Back was fun on the big screen  but it's remake was not fun to watch because it was a Netflix product.

So say goodbye to seeing TMNT on the big screen, Last Airbender, X-Men, etc.

    1 AnswerMovies6 months ago
  • Do you Harry Potter fans such as me hope the reboot brings back it's proper dark-fantasy roots?  Deathly Hallows sucks compared to the 1st!?

I sure hope so.  We have family movie nights every weekend and it took a while to get thru every Harry movie but omg!  Deathly Hallows 2 I sure don't remember being this violent and scary!  Sorrceror's Stone is nowhere near being like that, here's the de-evolution details:

Sorrceror's Stone-Goblet Of Fire 2001-05:Your average dark fantasy movie.  Bright, magical yet dark and gritty at times(usually during Voldemort scenes)hence the genre dark-fantasy, feels like The Goonies from 1985.

Order Of The Phoenix-Halfblood Prince 2007-09:Colorful at first but fades to grey-green as it progresses, more serious toned gritty-fantasy.

Deathly Hallows 1 2010:HP universe pulling the plug by this one turning it into nearly R-rated colorless menacing horror, it even has a snake scare that made me almost pee my pants.

Deathly Hallows 2 2011-Post pulled plug consumed by vampirism, really scary and violent, tons of blood, shrieking/loud screaming(don't know how many times a female character shrieks in this movie), gore, jump scares, etc, I can Not believe this is rated PG-13!  It's way beyond the border of being rated R.  It is portrayed like it's a vampire movie instead of HP I was like "This is HARRY!  Not Queen Of The Damned!" and there's a reason Twilight has those characteristics.  Sorcerror's Stone is my favorite Harry movie.

  • Are prequels becoming 'the new reboot'?

I sure hope not.  From what I have heard on IMDB when it comes to prequels current and in the works:

    Cruella De Vill

    Queen Of Hearts(before Alice)

Rise Of The She-Vampires(before Simon Belmont i guess)

unnamed Alien prequel(instead of a reboot)

    Willy Wonka(before Charlie Bucket really?)

    Sandlot(without Benny, come on!)

    Batman live action tv show

    Black Widow

    Gepetto

    Dracul

    Maniac Cop(zombie prequel)

    Minions Rise Of Gru

    Ju On

    The Hunger Games

    Star Wars Underworld

And for the same about reboots:

    Pinocchio

    Splash

    Snow White

    The Hunchback

    The Little Mermaid

    The Rescuers

    Peter Pan

    Tron

    Lilo And Stitch

Living Dead Genesis(not a horror fan but it's supposed to be terrifying)

    I Am Legend

American Werewolf In London(supposed to be really doom and gloom)

    Bride Of Frankenstein

    The Wolf Man

    Jaws

    Last Airbender(Netflix production, shucks!)

    The Batman

    Tarzan

    The Blob

    The Crow

    TMNT(Netflix)

    Godfather

    The Black Hole

    Scream

    Zorro

    Underworld

    Harry Potter(again Netflix)

    Spawn

    X-Men

    The Walking Dead movie

    Deep Blue Sea

    Night At The Museum(Netflix again!)

    Super Mario Bros

    Grease

    Ace Ventura

    Goonies

    LOTR

    Resident Evil

    Mortal Kombat

    Street Fighter

and so on and on and on....maybe reboots still reign :)

I know prequels aren't a new thing since Temple Of Doom is one and so is Fantastic Beasts.  Reboots are not new either, TMNT from 2014 is one and is Mike Keaton's 1989 Batman, nobody needs to tell me that but do you think prequels are taking over the film throne reboots apparently don't have anymore?

  • Do you think these video game musics sound kinda 80s?

This music has instruments from Transformers 1985 and some are from Ninja Turtles 1987, the part with the army Shy Guy has 1970s sounding music while the rest sounds 1980s

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENIdf5KgPjo&list=P...

This music sounds like TMNT 1987, it doesn't sound like 2000s music at all.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6k5fONDf-w&list=P...

This music sounds like Never Ending Story, the title screen is so like that of a 1980s tv show

This music sounds like Transformers 85

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5OYIX28xWI&list=P...

This sounds kinda like inbetween Never Ending Story and TMNT 87

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o41HS4FrTsA&list=P...

This music sounds like TMNT 87's orchestral music

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySM4R43HS_E&list=P...

This music sounds like Predator or The Running Man

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FS2QAsnoCbg&list=P...

    This sounds like 1990s

  • Who the heck else is sick of dark and gritty over the last 10 years?  I miss bright and campy!?

I'm not talking about those nasty horror movies but here's what I Am talking about:

I know people have always liked dark n gritty since the last 41 years but it's not like more people do.

I remember Before 2010 when either one was so rare in movies and tv unless they were X-Men, LOTR, Harry Potter, the 2 Terminator sequels, Underworld, the 2 Matrix sequels, Hellboy, Batman, the 2 Daniel Craig 007 movies, X-Files and the first 2 Twilights.  This was born in the late 1970s because Alien is very both, could it only be 2010 when they started mass-producing darkness because it was so rare until the new Alice Of Wonderland came out and it was horrible, if remade in 1990 or 2000 it wouldn't be.  From broody supers like Magneto to modern Disney remakes.  No wonder the 3rd Power Ranger movie "Failed" because it was friggen grim!, the same goes for Spidey 3, Beauty And The Beast reboot is very bright and campy and feels like Power Rangers (the tv show) and so does Aladdin and The Lion King, looks like they're Trying to bring back campiness but they're still Failing.  Most MCU movies are campy and PR-esque, some have darkness. 5 years ago Fixing Hollywood website posted this message board. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&so...

    And I agree.

  • Why do people now hate CGI in cartoons?

First they started hating it in movies with The Phantom Menace, then tv shows starting with Agents Of Shield, now cartoons! Whats wrong with people?! Cartoons are all Supposed to be Fake! Nearly all are CGI get over it! They care less about flash animation but cgi ones they give such a bull about. I hear people saying stuff like "Damn, Sonic Boom sucks compared to Sonic X, screw CGI!", they need to stop crying and realize it s the standard and not only like computer matter acting on it s own.

And don t say "CGI cartoons are nothing new" because I see/hear it all the time.

  • Why do parents hate their kids for watching whiny bratty kid shows but are ok with them watching mature kid shows like The Simpsons?

I hear parents saying their kids are acting like spoiled brats from watching Boss Baby, Rugrats, Llama Llama, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Recess and the like but the same parents get along just fine with their kids watching The Simpsons which is worse.

Rugrats=The babies cry and whine a lot, they're babies it's normal plus Angelica taunts babies all the time.

Boss Baby=Toby doesn't take kindly towards babies, too bad he doesn't say Why You Little.

Any TMNT whether from 1987, 2003, 2012 and 2018=Characters say rude things like "shut up", "freaking" and "ill-mannered one".

    Recess=Kids often get grouchy.

Llama Llama=Llama himself constantly whines for his way sometimes yelling when so, I hope in Season 3 Daddy Gnu will starting saying"WHY YOU LITTLE!"but that's impossible he's the opposite of Homer.

The Simpsons=The kids fight, yell, cuss and treat each other and their parents like trash!

Which of these do you think is worse, Id say THE SIMPSONS!!!

For example who do you think is fussier? Nelly Gnu or Bart Simpson?

    Nelly

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOHRRAx047s

    or

    Bart

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zw220bx88WA

    I would say BART!!!

Also don't forget to tell me you watched these videos just when you read.
