What is the best large mammal?

I don't mean "what kind of large mammal is the best", like "a hippo", but rather which one animal in particular is the best? Could be a whale, an elephant, anything large.

A single wolf's howl can reach up to 90 decibels (dB), when the wolf pack howls together, their collective volume can reach 114dB.

A rooster crowing is capable of producing around 90 decibels

    can cats physically bark?

    Favourite answer:

A cat and her kittens were prowling an alley, looking for food, when a dog came by and threatened them. The kittens got behind their mother, who turned sideways and puffed herself up to look bigger. The dog started walking toward them. The mother hissed and spat. The dog came coming. The mother stated to growl and then barked loudly. The dog turned and left. The mother cat turned to the kittens and said, "See, that's why I told you that ir was a good idea to study foreign languages."

Are pelicans, pigeons, seagulls and pheasants dinosaurs ?

    Favourite answer:

All birds are theropod dinosaurs. They evolved in the Jursassic, so there were birds at the same time that other kinds of dinosaurs still existed.  Two lineages of birds survived the K-Pg extinction event.   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theropoda

Could Triceratops be gray in color in the real world if they were alive today since larger reptiles & land mammals are mostly dull in color?

Based on the appearances of tortoises, rhinoceros iguanas, elephants and rhinoceros while the dinosaur doesn't look much birdlike esp by the legs.

Doesn't a 'safety in numbers' birthing/hatching tactic mean that some individual newborn animals are being asked to 'take one for the team'?

for the greater good of the species by becoming dinner for waiting predators? Like the group of predators that gather on a beach, knowing a feast is waiting if they can just wait out turtle hatchlings, but the sheer number of the hatchlings means a glut which means the surviving hatchlings are able to make it to the water unmolested?

Are you a little scared of bumble bees?

    Favourite answer:

No, not one little bit. I've been stung quite a few times so I've no fear of anaphylactic shock from bee stings. Yes, they hurt but not that much on the grand scheme of things. When I dislocated by elbow that was damned painful and not something I would like to repeat. Considering I could very easily flatten a bumble bee, although I would never do so, I think they have far more to fear from me.

    Are sharks fish ?

    Favourite answer:

Yes, they are cartilaginous fishes, meaning they have no bones. These were some of the earliest fishes to evolve in the oceans after jawless fishes. Most fish in the ocean today are bony fishes which actually evolved in fresh water and went back to the ocean.

Besides pigeons and gulls what bird species are commonly considered urban/street birds?

    Favourite answer:

In the State of Washington, European starlings are street birds that hang out outside of fast food places, and also pick dead bugs out of car grills in parking lots.  Also, mallard ducks and Canada geese are found wherever there is water, and people feed them though they shouldn't.

Besides that, there are a great variety of backyard birds, some exotics and feral pet species, and some that live also in the wild.  BTW "Pigeons" are feral pet birds; they are native to the Middle East.  In Southern California cities I have seen English sparrows [exotic] and white-crowned sparrows, barn swallows and cliff swallows, Brewers blackbirds and their reproductive parasites, brown-headed cowbirds; turkey vultures, golden eagles, flickers, woodpeckers, yellowthroats, house finches, various hummingbirds, western meadowlarks, mourning doves, native ringneck doves, feral domesticated ringneck doves, collared doves, Cooper's hawks, red-tailed hawks, great horned owls, screech owls, Say's phoebes, scrub jays, mockingbirds, and yes, seagulls, pigeons, mallard ducks, and sometimes Canada geese.  Many more of course, but I'm just going to stop.
